Sleeping's probably a habit (as Mr. DJ said). IIRC, eating and drinking though, isn't as necessary for most normal spirits. But if a spirit awakens their spiritual power, then the need to eat more often becomes necessary--especially if they use their power.

I'm guessing that the reason why the VR didn't attack before was that Bach was still powering up...

or maybe they thought, "Oh we'll let Aizen take care of the shinigami and move in when he's ALL done!'

i remember that chapter back in chem 101. the one where flames can't melt vacuum ice walls. and of course the sub-chapter about vacuum ice swords being unstoppable. they should have just killed this shitritter with matsumoto's hotness. that would have made more sense

Yea instead of bankai he just went with "I'm a genius and I'm a cool shouta who's bankai is just for mass anyway so i'm just gonna kill you with some kind of logic the fans probably wont bother looking up anyway."

It could have done with less VC of Soi Fon. Its cool that Hitsugaya and Matsumoto was able to combo attack even if Buzz-B will live till the next chapter. I wonder how he will face off with the guy that stole his Bankai?

there are those who complain that we re-see Omaeda but hey thanks to Kubo this we want to show that Omaeda can be responsible is brave and protective when it comes to the life of his family is at stake

so after I realize that this is even without their captain's Bankai who have lost have become very strong and after such Soifon have Suzumebachi will always shunko and another captain as Toshiro have probably develop new powerful technical

Hitsugaya's a supposed prodigy, it's about time he stopped spamming "Hyourinmaru!" Even though he was basically left with no other choice.
