This episode delivered the most awesome and stunning fight sequences as of the current storyline.

Rei kicked ass; Saeko with sword + Komuro riding motorbike = Saeko's devastating combo sword on multiple zombies.

Hirano with any fireguns goes gung-ho and merciless against the zombie hordes.

Spoiler for Hirano:

Hirano now got his chance on the spotlight. He snapped against that f****r Shido, when the latter wouldn't let go Marikawa-sensei off the bus.

The other students are hopeless due that fear's blocking their minds shut and rather than coping with reality, instead, they turn to Shido's loud-mouth preaching as a fake beacon of hope.

I applaud Hirano for standing up against his devious tormentor. The guy, as an otaku, had to put up with all sorts of shits from the school bullies and the teachers everyday. Back then, Hirano had no other choice, but now that the current world is gone the rules have changed.

Hirano showed Shido who's the boss and proved crucial for the remaining Komuro group to leave the bus and looking out there for Komuro and Rei.
