Relius Clover is a playable character in BBCS2+, the upcoming PSVita version of BBCS2.

I'm hoping he's DLC for console versions. Or they release BBCS2+ on consoles. Either way won't be too bad.

Edit: Closer inspection of the magazine article reveals that Relius is a character who will be added to BBCS2 arcade version (along with another set of balance changes) this winter and has no mention of the PSVita version, sorry.

From the screenshots, it looks like Relius poses everytime he makes his doll do something, so that at least should make him play different to Carl (and also make him way easier to play, which pleases me). Looking forward to the loketest videos in August.

The magazine stated that Relius was due for Winter. This was a misprint. According to Mori's twitter, he is actually scheduled to be added to the game in Autumn.

Also, Relius's drive is called "Detonator".

[Merged post]

The Loketests for the new version have started.

Interesting changes so far.

Hmm....can't really tell how will those change affect Platinum much. Rachel lost one of her pressure tool, I guess (j.2c).
I knew Platinum's Mami Circular's damage will be nerfed. It hit way too hard.

There is already a very big difference with Relius: Ignis isn't on the field non stop like Nirvana, which means he is more independant than Carl, but can punish hard considering he can attack simultaneously with Ignis, whereas Carl requires some timing.

That said, it is unlikely possible to have a clap trap or something like a sandbag tactics considering Ignis mecanics shown so far.

Meanwhile, I wonder if it is really good idea to add that change for the Burst. Surely, the penalty for green burst is sort of taxing at times, but instant 25% heat means that gold burst are extremely potent, to the point I wonder if they won't tweek a bit the impact of gold burst altogether.

Platinum 6C doesn't float opponent anymore, this will hurt a lot of her combo. Let's see how it will play out.

BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend seems to be the title of this actual game:

http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/201...blazblue_vita/
http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/201..._extend_ps360/

Not sure if it's getting a console release, hopefully it stays as dlc, and there's supposedly going to be more characters aside from relius and wife.
Also a couple of other stuff is thrown in too, and it'll probably come out at winter

I remember reading somewhere that Kokonoe is the next one after Relius. Don't quote me on this, though.

I also hope it's a DLC. Kinda don't want to buy another copy of the game.

it seem extend version (dont know if vita only or include console) will have a refined version of the BlazBlue Calamity Trigger story, complete with four new scenarios

Any word if Extend'll be getting a physical copy? My PS3 and/or PSN Account seem to have failed and won't let me add funds, and I'd really hate not being able to get this if it comes in DLC form.

I'm assuming that Extend on PS3/Xbox360 is going to be a new disc since that's way too many features for a DLC, even though the only feature that matters is small enough to be DLC, hence it will piss people off.

The Vita version is getting random things like extra storylines and such, which seems to be standard for the portable versions, so I'd really like for it to be just dlc for the character.
However, it sounds like they're going to put functionality in for the communication between the console and the portable versions, so it might have to be on disc.

Yeah, that's what I'm mainly talking about.

The JP Playstation Blog has an interview with Mori and Masuno of Arc stating that cross-system online play between PSVita and PS3 versions may be a possibility. But I don't see how they can add that to the current CS disc game in a patch, it's not like the game is on PC where patches can completely change part of the source code, there's a limit to what patches can do with disc-based games on consoles.
