What a hell of a episode, there are lots of things included here.
Subaru finally recognized his fault in front of Julius, that is something showing how he grow up as MC and how Subaru stopped on being an idiot thanks to all what happened to him. Now what is the meat of this episode is the fight against Betelgeuse, the first encounter was something weird and ended on Betelgeuse getting his ass kicked, at least that was what everyone though. Then the second fight againt a new body(?) ended in the same, but this time a lot of people died thanks to that attack. What a cliffhanger at the end with Ram showing up, something bad is going to happen I feel it. Now there are 2 things that I personally didn't liked from this episode, the first one was the QUALITY, seriously what the hell happened. The second one is how this episode feel rushed for some reason, maybe White Fox is trying to fit too much content?. |

Wilheim has recently became one of my favorite characters from the series. He's just so cool for someone his age and also be able to serve as a sort of mentor for Subaru.
Wonder what Ram has been up to these days...she showed up at the end.

The supporting characters in this series have been consistently wonderful so far, even the antagonists. Subaru now has a Gospel in his possession is this furthering his move to being Pride? Appropriate lessons on leadership from both Wilhelm and Ferris and Subaru is finally listening to folks! Is Ram the surrogate actor for Roswald's plans?
Also, were both Emilia and Puck tired from setting up the barrier around the mansion? Is that it or was there something I missed? |

What the heck is Ram doing?!
And man oh man oh man, was it so satisfying to see Betelgeuse get sliced in half and get his body blown away by those cat things. That finger was also pretty wild; glad he/she didn't last long. It looked like maybe the Unseen Hands were almost visible because of the water raining down. |

Her name is the first one that actually popped up in my mind, but I didn't think too much about it. Thanks for confirming it, though. That's the first time I've heard her... well, be like that? And it was convincingly insane.

So, can Betelgeuse transfer his conscience to a random Finger when he dies? I really was not expecting something like that. But yeah, i knew it was not going to be that simple to get rid of him with just one sword strike from Wilhelm. it's never simple/easy in Re:Zero
Wtf Ram? What are you doing there? Next episode will probably be fucked up :/ |

I get this feeling that Ram has standing orders to not allow the other candidates followers to come into their territory for some reason--perhaps related to the fact that Rosewaal's' goal is to kill the dragon.
It would be a shame for Subaru to lose the progress made in this loop, but I wonder how he is going to deal with this completely unexpected obstacle. |
