I suspect without 3 months of waiting and building up excitment for the characters I like and have been following since last Fall to have one last hurrah in episode 11/12 it wouldn't have been such a let down to see 2 out of 3 of the characters on the show I like most not do much and then get jobbed before the finale. |

Maybe it was because I watched all Episodes 1-10.5 in one go, but I wasn't at all shocked about the Maus. It is only the logical conclusion to BF's strategy.
In a way, I like it. If they actually fought fair, I might actually have pangs about Novice Team winning over Veteran. Now I can just wish for their defeat. |

from what I saw and this is my opinion(so I can be wrong)
It seemed like Maho was running her tanks like they were up against Pravda. With the use of their heavy tanks and the small strategies with them, Miho OTOH clearly knew what her sister was going to pull off aswell, so the Prez teams placement was well set up, I'm seeing this is a battle of the wits later down the track between the 2 sisters (Maybe Erika too), right now the Maus problem is present and when that thing rolled out, I said to myself "get fxcked.... no way...", the scene where KMMs tanks were rolling around with the Erika March BGM playing already showed that Ooarai was in deep trouble, the Maus rolling out to Panzerlied just topped that, +100 Points to SoDoKo for standing up to the behemoth and flipping it off / giving it the bird / telling it to get fxcked however like many of you, I agree that the Hippo team should've bolted away from there, but do remember their emotional thought probably came 1st and wanted to stand up for the Duck/Mallard team, I Don't blame them for that 11/10 Good episode to come back to overall, |

A hallmark of this show is the little things which really bring it home.
-Tankers bitching about handling track (so true! ) -Using a rope as a messenger cable for a towing cable -The Rabbit team members looking at each other and deciding to sacrifice themselves (by volunteering to be left behind) to allow the rest of their friends to escape -Panzerlied playing while the KMM German armor is rolling through the fields And does anyone else think that Maho has a really nice voice? |

The book has actually been referenced multiple times in the anime before, the earliest being in episode 2 when the freshmen were reading books in the library.

Also, Miho still need to jump about 2 m further to break world record. Men's Records World Mike Powell 8.95 m Olympic Bob Beamon 8.90 m Women's Records World Galina Chistyakova 7.52 m Olympic Jackie Joyner 7.40 m

Y'know, despite their "redemption" moments and Momo's amusing antics, I can't bring myself to like the student council. The show puts them in a neither "here nor there" situation for me. If you like Miho, then the student council acted like a complete ass to her in the beginning. They then are shown to be arrogant but completely ineffectual. Their redemption comes a tad late..

I mean, it is entirely logical to be skeptical of the concept that a layer of "carbon" so thin the tank's appearance was unchanged will not only stop all comers, but protect from serious shock ... unless you've already experienced it. So when their fears were aroused by rattling caused the ridiculous number of misses, thus reminding them of the actual power of the rounds in a way watching them hit from afar could not, it is probably reasonable for them to run away from the tank |
