Well, that seemed like a very anodyne CGDCT show where the most contentious moment was the cream tea debate. Then the last few minutes seem to have been pasted in from a different show.

Nothing particularly made me want to watch more though, though I'll probably read reviews to see where it goes from here and if that changes my mind.

I've watched a lot of CGDCT shows, and this was the most boring first episode I've watched since Lucky Star. If not for the OP and the ending scene, I probably would have dropped it right there. The guys look like they're from a different show though, like the character design for them was done by somebody else.

I'll keep watching because it might turn out to be pretty interesting.

episode 1:

I found Pica to be quite beautiful when she was spinning her umbrella. That alone makes me interested to go on to the next episode.

Second episode and I think I'm going to give it one more to see if they link the two quite different settings of the show. I suspect things are not what they seem but if they don't resolve that by next week I'll drop it for now and read reviews to see if it does resolve it.

Spoiler for My theory, anyway:

I was wondering if the 'bugs' they were talking about exterminating would actually turn out to the the people who are being slaughtered en masse in the 'grimdark world' scenario. Though I guess 'cute girls do mass murder' is a hard sell so that's probably not it.

This episode pretty much confirmed that bugs = muggles/men, when they mentioned they'd be helpless if a knight showed up instead.

episode 2:

getting better. If this is an rpg game, the girls are all extremely low level beginners. While those scary guys at the op theme are all max levelled. lol

it's a bit of a surprise the girls have to manually put on their costumes. I guess no magical girl transformation.. automatic putting on clothes here.

the song at the OP is starting to get addicting for me. Watched this episode at least three times today. Sign that I might be buying something later if things stay the same.

I'm actually content with just the cgdct aspect of the show. The rest are just bonuses.
