They really have upped their teamwork. All that training they did last season to improve various teamwork between different pairs of gear users really paid off.

The vampire and also the furry loli also want to be treated like human? Well, if they did not massacre most of the audience + brutally killed one..

Old man revealed to be evil. Is he the secret boss of this season? Maybe he also has a monster form like Adam, then the girls can beat him up.

Kirika and Shirabe get a lot of focus in this season. Their scene are so great to watch and those combination attacks are SO COOL.

Look like Vampire-chan (damm, her name is so hard to remember) and Elsa act evil because the situation they are in and just follow order in exchange for their survival. Vampire-chan's crime is still unforgivable. I guess the best she can get is a redemption through a honorable sacrifice. Elsa might survive and join good side.

Ah...So Fudo is behind everything and not USA? Our gears are about to get back-stabbed hard then.

If I have to guess, only Fudo and Cyborg-chan are the true evil in XV. Vampire-Chan and Elsa are just get tricked and being used by Cyborg-chan. Soon, they will get betrayed. On the other hand, Symphogear users and S.O.N.G. will get back-stabbed by Fudo and need to run. Then, Gears + Alchemists will join force as rouge organization against Fudo and government under "Enemy of enemy is my friend" agreement.

I have noticed why the US government and Fudo were making deal with Bavarian Illuminati is because the power of song is pointless and useless to them too, it will not be enough to save the world that requires the power of the god. The previous Bavarian Illuminati like Saint Germain and her friends has power of the song and I bet it got Fudo annoyed as well too.

The power of the gods can be used through the power of song: all the Custodian relics are activated via phonic gain. If they want to actually control the power of the Custodians, betraying and abandoning the symphogear users is the stupidest thing they could do.

I was kinda talking about the view of Fudo and others.
They will never appreciated the persons with the power of Song, they were using the Symphogear as pawn to gain their foolish ambition and desire.

I'm not sure it is the dumbest thing they could do, just a rather dumb move. After all relics may need phonic gain for activation, but depending on how complete they are, that may be all they need. Be it Durandal, Nehushtan Armor, or even Carol's harp, they could be used perfectly fine without any songs. You just needed to start them up once. Heck, Chris liked the armor in S1 for the reason that she didn't have to use her song with it.

So really all they need in some cases is just someone with enough phonic gain to start a relic like a car key and then remove them from the equation. But beyond that I'm not surprised he's interested in the Divine Weapon-like power we saw in AXZ. No songs required, just pure power. That Fudo would align with alchemists makes good sense. They can use songs because there isn't a serious divide between music and alchemy in this setting, but alchemy can stand strong on its own too.

That creepy old man wants power he can control and probably power that he can personally wield. Individuals with their own thoughts, beliefs, and desires are his greatest enemy. Crushing the power of song and only leaving divine power behind is probably his greatest hope.

Fudo also fixated on pure bloodline thing. The thing he did to his son maybe is one of his plan in the past to gain power of song with having a girl born into the family. In the past the one that dominate everything is only the symphogear to fight again noise. Having tsubasa as a girl who can wield symphogear is all he need to make japan the most influential country in the world.

Now with having alchemy introduced and having learned about the divine weapon, he started planning to make tsubasa submit to his way using the incident in the concert and milaarc abilities to further control her maybe in the future episode.

The new upgrade is AWESOME!! Faust Robe and Symphogear fused together.

It was a pretty good episode. Honestly, I think it is the weakest episode of Season 5 thus far. But it still remains really good.

Some real high points like the Saint Germain and Hibiki duet. That was a lot of fun. Some nice tricks from the alchemists which was fine. Heck, we got to see Super Agent Maria using her head and tracking down the enemy.

But, when they cut away to the main cast after the fighting was over it looked a bit silly. They are essentially standing around doing absolutely nothing within those barrier fields while Hibiki goes all out. You have a team of Symphogear users show, get them in there.

I'm just left wondering if the cast will get to do some awesome stuff or if this Hibiki power-up will lead to her doing all the cool stuff for the remainder of the show.

Before I make my review for Episode 4 you guys here my thoughts.

You know it is quite really strange and damn too because while I was checking Fudo that other time and what shocking was he bloody 105+ years old and yet still living, dang impressed someone live longer after 100 years passed. I guess the bloodline of Kazanari are tough.

For episode 4 clifhanger is the best to me because where I heard Genjuro says abort the mission I was like 'Genjuro no! this is not like you to say that.' and when it continues, I was like Oh to Genjuro, Oh to Sakuya, oh to Aoi, oh to Elfnein and when the full screen where US groups has guns on them I was like Oh shit!

We will get the explanation for that in the keyword next week maybe. This is the first time that this happened to them and only hibiki know how to wield the power thanks to the power of friendship.
Looks like all the user have the same amalgam form but how maybe they will have different kind of weapon just like hibiki's big gold arm.
Also we still have the x-drive form which is the final form for the series. Everybody still can do some awesome stuff as well.
