Just FYI, to explain the Japanese title: くま クマ 熊 ベアー
くま = "kuma" in hiragana character set クマ = "kuma" in katakana character set 熊 = "kuma" (bear) in kanji character set ベアー = phonetic spelling of the English word "bear" in katakana character set Basically, write "bear" in as many ways as possible in Japanese. That's all. |

I have now more then zero expectation of kkkb as there seems have some differences from Bofuri. Yuna despite wearing ridiculous costume doesn't sounds as childish as I would expect and suprisingly it works. I can believe she is someone who can make living on her own.
If other characters can deliver, it will be better then tank girl at least.

Doesn't seem like it will have the same production values or charming characters as Bofuri. But it should be decently average. Yuna seems nice enough and full respect to her level of personal success. Able to do well enough for herself that school is a waste of time and can keep her parents satisfied by tossing them money every now and then. Although that seems like a really questionable relationship situation there...
Forget the VR dive technology. The AI in that game seems mindblowingly good. To the level that there should almost be a moral question about programming monsters to massacre their families and leave survivors with psychological trauma. The outfit she's stuck in is pretty goofy, but the power is certainly there.

episode 1:
I like Yuna's voice. So kawaii. Also that's one intelligent monster snake. It knows Yuna would shoot something into it's mouth, so it did a headbutt instead of trying to swallow her. well, I dislike snakes.. so glad one got poofed right on the first episode. if the enjoyment continue, then I will buy something from this anime.

Finally watched the first episode, and yeah, this is definitely an example of how NOT to do one.
I can see EMT^2 wanting to give viewers an idea of what can be expected later on in the show in terms of Yuna's character before having the real start next week. However, between choosing a story line that is basically generic and doesn't really showcase what the anime has to offer (the snake viper investigation) and causing some confusion among viewers by having it end in the real world (thus giving the wrong idea of the events depicted in this episode), it really makes me question whether or not I should even watch next week's episodes (or even do the same thing that I did with Bofuri and wait until some of the main stuff with Yuna, in particular the bear summons, is fleshed out before watching it again).

This is isekai genre not pure MMORPG Don't know why studio decide to confuse viewers with bad timing flashback Fighting Viper should be later and she should being isekaied from MMORPG game to another world first Probably "don't want to start like other isekai stories" or some line of that thought At least there should be something to tell audience that our world scene was flashback Not just finished mission then lock out This will be confuse everyone that do not know about original story I have bad feeling about this, I hope next week timeline should be normal

That was indeed an odd first episode. Jumped right into the middle of the story. I thought we'd get to see how she ended up in that OP bear suit first.
Yuna's voice is deeper/more mature than her appearance would suggest. Didn't expect that.

Indeed it is weird, and may even affect the expectations of people that think that the show would be like Bofuri. This may still be part of the "slow life" subgenre of fantasy, but more about someone with a good head on one's shoulders compared to Maple who seems to be taking things in stride while making friends along the way. Emphasis on making friends because Yuna seems to be so independent that all she needed was her VR headset and her stock-watching PC setup to earn a luxury.
I actually feel sad about the emptiness in her room. Is she fine living that kind of life, I wonder.
