just askin...let's just say if you guys have met someone like watashi in real life do you guys think you will be compatible enough to be friends? for me i guess so..her snarky attitude is amusing even though it might be annoying at times and i would love to try some of her cake..

I guess that means it's doing better than they expected, which is good, because this show deserves it.

And that special was funny. A spoon that extracts flour from the brain, what else will those fairies come up with? And our main protagonist is quite naive, if she thinks stuff like that is harmless.

Is this special from the BDs? If so, does that mean there will be more?

I assume there will be 5 more, one for each BD.

Not just Flour, it extracts anything the person can think of... she can also extract sugar or maybe even other things... LOL

BTW, da chibi-mini-watashi is so cute.
So... she's now Fairy sized... will she gain Fairy abilities? (like when she's happy, there'll be multi-watashis, LOL)

The thing with crazy school girls though, I don't believe that the heroine and Y reconciled with the club so that they could endure until graduation and leave the school unscathed. Those dark corridors, for which I'm certain were a consequence of fairies at work, have made it possible for the girls to sneak around and peek inside the private lives and thoughts of their club comrades, which would otherwise be impossible. The scene with the two girls gossipping, drinking and throwing clothes on the floor was to induce a puking sensation, and to dispel illusions some viewers might have about (school) girls in general. It was to present the flipside of things, our innermost ugliness. It was a critique of the yandere and ourselves, that we're so incapable of admitting that we have to wrestle with this ugliness from time to time that we create anthropomorfized ugliness in form of anime characters, so we can approach it as a spectacle, not as a personal problem. With the knowledge the heroine left those corridors, she didn't do anything in particular. She returned to the Wild Rose club because that's what people do. Sound people want to see the best, not the worst in other people. There wasn't much relief after she hugged Curly-chan goodbye. It was a simple goodbye, with the other club members leaving the school a bit older and a bit wiser, probably with some of their issues resolved.

All in all, the school setting was a perfect way to end the records of humanity's decline. To me, as far as anime and manga go, the school setting represents a graveyard of ideas, the endgame of producers trying to score some quick cash with a degenerate crowd of people who have (temporarily?) given up on advancing themselves. Why try to develop the main character at the very end of the show? It doesn't make any sense! So the only sense I see is that Jintai's producers said "fuck it, screw the conventions" and developed the setting as much as possible, leaving character development as seconds gravy for the very last bit.

There's no telling how many sales were lost due to Amazon running out of stock because they underestimated demand. 5K is definitely better than I initially would have guessed when the series premièred, but we probably won't know the real ceiling until vol. 2.
