Then a block by either Tinypic (as cyberbeing already speculated) or some Finnish provider seems more likely. Try to contact tinypic directly, to ask if your and your school's IPs are blocked:

http://tinypic.com.nyud.net/contact.php (nyad proxy, if this does not work use some other random proxy)

Do you have friends in your town using the same ISP with the same problem?

or try renting a computer in a cafe nearby.

or tinypic itself is the problem?! sample problems are sometimes it destroy quality of images i uploaded and sometimes animated.gif will turn into animated.jpg but still moving.
