Thats one bad example. Now having read volume 1 and 2 and parts of 3. I cant speak to how good 4 is. But what i will say is that 3 volumes gives effective pacing for the story and it wont be rushed. Sometimes doing 4 rushes things just enough that it ruins it

I will answer about one question that was asked there's 2 pages ago about how Lux manage the fight against Yoruka :

First it was a 1vs1, Lisha didn't help him because Lux refuses saying it was his fight.
As another one said, Yoruka knows all 3 techniques that Lux created, more precisly just like him she invented them, meaning those techniques actually have two creators but Yoruka being a "shadow" she never disclosed them.

Yoruka won the fight from A to Y, fortunately for Lux at the end of the fight seeing it was quite a desesperated situation, they began talking about Yoruka's little bro, which she seemed quite fond off because he considered her as a human instead of a tool.
Lux couldn't win so far against Yoruka because she had no feeling, and Lux speciality being reading in his opponant thought couldn't work on such a robot. Once the talk ends she show slight emotion which enable Lux to read her movements and one shot her.
She serves him because he says that everything he has been doing so far is " for the sake of the Arcadia Empire" ( so far I didn't understand this sentence).

Who is the strongest between Lux and her is a very difficult question, I consider her as the joker and stronger than Lux but he did win against her against all chances.

IMHO, when Lux stated that all he did for the sake of the Empire he meant exeactly that - he fought for the betterment of the nation, NOT the bigwigs who screwed the empire in the first place. After all, Arcadia is a far more complex, impressive and massive construct than Emperor's Court.

Man eater = a woman who makes you think she like you, gains something she wanted, then dumps you.

1st ep adapted 4 from 7 chapters, so around 100 from 300 pages of 1st Volume. They cut out chase after Lux at begging, but overall it was ok.

The first episode was fast, but I think it was done superbly. They managed to push out many of the unnecessary scenes and altered many to fit them into a good episode. I especially like how there is foreshadowing in this episode with Krulcifer. She's curious and is the only person so far to question why he has a black sword, while having another.
