Oh, I managed to find the "anime design" of Diablo on the merchandise page, hehe.

If you scroll through the stuff, you find that merchandise (I have no idea what to call it) that uses the same character designs as the "character" page on the ten-sura homepage (aside from Shion, who looks different from her character page, for some reason). These also include a design for Ramiris (fairy) and Diablo (butler-suit).

Unfortunately it's in low resolution, but I guess it's something.

I wouldn't give it too much attention though. Right now it looks like we are heading full-on towards the cliffhanger ending at the end of LN vol. 4... or maybe even only LN vol. 3, as openings and promo posters have been shown to "lie" in the past... I mean the first wide spread seems the only one that's somewhat on-point, but the last two ones advertise the show as a slice-of-life harem and a power-couple action-romance (that makes Veldora look like some grand villain) respectively.

this is bad... looking at how emotional I am at episode 5 when Gazef exiled the dwarves...
I think I might cry at next episode if the anime could replicate or even make it better
please end it in 1 single episode.. I don't think I could handle 2 episodes about Shizu

I have to say they really pulled in some talent for slime anime. Even the somewhat boring episodes are elevated somewhat through nice directing and voice acting.

While I think the character designs can use a bit more detail, this is a long series...and I'm amazed by the characters they are introducing, which is arcs and arcs away.

Didn't the author say that some characters in the op would not make an appearance in the anime? Unless they pulled a Black Clover and announced new seasons after ep 24

Well...she is Rimiru's "fated gf" so she has to have a lot of episodes (She's even being princess-carried in the promo picture.). Plus, it would be a waste of a character design not to give her a lot of screen time.

Source? I haven't heard anything about this supposed author statement before. You sure you are not mixing it up with the author of another series?

Though to be honest I wouldn't mind if they only adaptate up until LN vol. 3, but it would be a rather... lame ending for a season imo, though on the other hand it would not end on a massive cliffhanger. And yes, regardless of where they decide to end this season, I hope they'll immidietly announce a second season afterwards and that it will come fairly fast, because I don't like the idea that I have to wait until the 2020s before I get to see the Harvest Festival Arc and Best Fanatic Butler animated.

Let me tell you in advance: Don't trust the promo stuff. It's pretty much Madoka-level false advertising and I have no idea why they are doing this. Also why do you assume that it's the tall girl who is his fated person and not one of the kids? I mean the characters in the show seem to make that same assumption as you, but I see no reason to believe that the destined person is either possibly one of the other people from the vision, or perhaps everyone shown in it in some way or another.

Remember the skills Rimuru got from eating the boss Direwolf? One of them was "Thought Communication". It's safe to assume that the other wolves have that skill as well, escpacially after evolving.

That might have been true if it had actually been promoted like that, but no. It's actually 3 vastly different ways of presentation. The 3 key images for the anime each give a different "vibe". The first one makes it look like a shounen action-adventure type, the second makes it look like the "typical" harem ecchi slice-of-life, while the last one makes it look like a power couple romance about a plot of defeating an evil dragon. Look back to page one of this thread, where I described that whole false advertisment in more detail.

To put it simply: They are all inaccurate...

Just because a character happens to be very important doesn't mean she gets a lot of screen time.

Well , she prob is going to be getting more screen time than what is in the light novel. The promos can't be too inaccurate or there is going to be a lot of angry viewers. Maybe the anime is going to be "tweaked" a bit to fit the promos.

It's starting to feel like Veldora has been forgotten. If so, that would be too bad because I liked the interaction between those two. I guess the story could hold him until a dire situation and have him reappear to solve it a la dragon ex machina.

too bad there is no space to cover his side stories, in the official release of the manga (volumes), at there are some bonus stories recapping the plot so far but from Veldora's perspective, and it's hilarious

Unless Gobta has that as well, or this ability allows one to read another's mind, then this doesn't change anything. And it would be difficult for them as direwolves to get into the city anyways, not to mention that he's likely still locked away in that prison cell.

EPISODE 6 Fate encounter between a modern age salary man in the form of Slime and a WW2 victim

virtual and music are really spot on this episode VERY BIG improvement from Manga
the pace might seem slow than expected but this is very good story telling so far without leave anything

next Episode will be a VERY VERY BIG one anyone still didn't read manga
IT IS best to stay away from manga or novel until next chapter
