The main story will end at 23rd ep and the 24th ep that he appear will be titled "gaiden:kuro to kamen". It is an anime original episode from the author about shizu and diablo. I guess that this is some kind of sidestory/backstory of some sort. So, optimistically, I think that there will be no rushing. Judging from their current VAs, The anime might end before the end of LN vol.4 as many people already predict before.

Sorry for my crude clarification. My "rushing" means "rush to the arc where diablo appear".
And unless they want major cliffhanger, I wish ep.23 will end right before vol.4 epilogue. They can slower down their faster pace a little this way too.

overall an episode about the start of Tempest as a Nation and the forming of Jura Forest Alliance

Rimuru vs Hero King fight scene is cool and great to see

but the tension is lacking compare to Manga where King Gazelle keep provoking Rimuru to the point even character like Trynee start to get angry

Episode 15 has a new opening theme song. I personally still prefer the first one though.

As for the latset episode, I think Rimuru has a great amount of charisma. It's possible for them to make a nation where races can co-exist together. Won't be easy but I say anything is possible in their world.

The Federation replaced the Alliance. The Alliance was gone in the same episode it was formed.

The episode was good, but it felt like it was missing something and looking back in the manga. I think I know what it was. Treyni was notorious for trolling rimuru into becoming chancellor and then addressing him as the king of the alliance now. Does anyone think the city should have been more developed than what we saw?

Now guessing how quickly the episode ran through I am going to assume the next chapter will be a filler of sorts *mod snip*

Nice new opening there, the party got a lot bigger and it looks like there are a lot of enemies to go up against, I am very excited for this 2nd half.

The Jura alliance and everyone living together, I like it, they were building a big town in the opening, it will definitely have to be big to fit over 150,000 people in it.

Wow Rimuru you are a legend for giving everyone single one of them a name.

The verdict Gabiru got didn't surprise me, I'm sure he will be fine.

Wow look at the village now, it will definitely prosper greatly with the modernizations to it. And now that is has a name and treaty with the kingdom.

Plenty of different demon lords to oppose Rimuru, looking forward to the next episode.

I'm guessing my biggest issue with how Rimuru is building his city is that there are no mass scale defenses. At least with the Dwarven Kingdom, they are located in a mountain and have a gate. It's a natural fortress. However, with the current city that is being built, it's on flat land with no barriers. Every time so far that a threat has come, Rimiru repeats the same phrase to prepare to evacuate everyone.


Also, now that the city population is in the hundreds of thousands, that's quite a lot of people to evacuate and potentially get caught in the crossfire. I really do hope he figures out a defensive system soon, as it is likely he'll get attacked eventually again and again.

For land based threats, they have the whole forest as the defensive barrier. For aerial threats, well, what can they do?

the girls using Rimuru as ice pillow during summer has already been done in the manga "Slime Diary". it is a standard trope.

this is the anime thread which bans spoiler, so if you really want to know the answer to your question, go ask in the web novel thread, yes, there is a way, but we probably will never get there in anime unless there is a season 4.

this is not spoiler, but just cut out from the anime, Rimuru actually names the orcs in the following fashion.

Mountain 001, Mountain 002, ..... Mountain 999, Water 001, Water 002,.... etc.

I think the pacing is okay

They have so many materials to cover so it is okay to rush on the "government and alliance" stuff
after all, we would have some time before entering new plot, which is the interesting one

although Rimuru is growing stronger in just one episode.. He suddenly become chancellor of thousands monsters and making alliance with "most likely" 2nd strongest kingdom around Jura Forest border

We could probably use some more antagonist action soon.

Though I expect some more town building so that there's more to blow up before that.

This series is really like a RTS or europa universalis game isn't it.
