And the cheating begins poor kotonoha. Episode ends with Sekai easily giving it up to wonder retard who goes into stalker mode after she rejects his advances as he's clearly bored with kotonoha. The scene in the rain was laughable at best with how it was written. The first half was kind of cute with the whole gang having fun and Hikari trying to hook up with that other imbecile. This episode was one of the worst ones in terms of consistency in the art/animation department looked very rushed.
Taisuke and Makoto are waiting for the girls. Taisuke is completely nuts with the girls (he is awaiting a lot Kotonoha for her figure). OTOH, Makoto is really depressed, and think about his First kiss with Sekai, and the first one with Kotonoha
Girls are changing (fanservice galore). Hikari and Sekai are completely boggling by Kotonoha's .... E-F-G cup chest. The scripters did insert Sekai "inflate bikini bra", "gift" from Minami . Setsuna is playing with it, but sekai makes it empty, and won't use this.
OP Kick IN. Back at school, it explains how everyone were tagging with Makoto and Kotonoha. (it appears it is because of Taisuke)
Back in the pool. Girls show up, and of course, taisuke is drooling. Then Kotonoha grabs Makoto's hand, which make Taisuke react immediately. They succeed to hide this point. Hikari is trying to drag Taisuke with her, Setsuna and Sekai help her. Taisuke is really dense about Hikari's feelings.
Kotonoha is learning swimming with Makoto, and they have some intimate moment (tight hug, with of course, big chest impact, etc)
Taisuke and Hikari have somewhat some fun. OTOH, Makoto is depressed and is alone. Sekai checks him up. She teases him about their lovey dovey moments. Makoto then talks about resuming the training, and put his hand on sekai's butt. She scolds him and says he shouldn't mistake things. Makoto then comments that her swimsuit fits her well. "Fun chat", makoto is amused, then he says that he enjoys these idiots moments with sekai, and say "so after all I...". Sekai cuts him short, saying he has Kotonoha, and she is the girl he loves
Lunch time. Kotonoha brought tons of sandwiches. (doesn't seem "not edible" this time). Makoto is full, but has a stain on his lips. Kotonoha tries to wipe it, he refuses, but she still do so while giggling. Hikari comments she is a nice girlfriend. Taisuke is oblivious, and thought makoto was hanging with Sekai. Kotonoha then confirms they are a couple. She is very Happy, while makoto is depressed, and sekai "sad".
Another swim lesson. the 4 others are spending their time together
End of the activity. Taisuke and Makoto are already dressed up. Kotonoha mentions that Kokoro would like to see him again, so he can come in her house soon. Kotonoha then holds his hand. Then the rest of the girls come. Hikari is commenting if they are "intruding" (well "ojamashimashite" IIRC, so about their lovey moments). Makoto says "idiot you are late, which upset a bit kotonoha. this makes sekai angry. She grabs makoto and says to kotonoha that she is borrowing him for a little while
They are talking, and sekai still scold him. Makoto says she knows why (referring his feelings), but sekai doesn't know. After a little chat, Sekai bears a sad expression and say "they can't". Makoto says it isn't that. Sekai says makoto already has Kotonoha, Makoto still says it isn't that. Sekai then ends the discussion that "they are friends" and "therefore, forget about me". She reverts back her cheerful mode, and they are leaving.
Eveyrone is in the bus. Makoto is gloomy, while kotonoha sleeps on his shoulder. At the train station, Hikari leave them, and, they are alone. Kotonoha tries to grab his arm, but he says they can't since his train his going to arrive soon. Kotonoha is a bit upset, but doesn't mind and leave him. Later, Kotonoha lays a hand on her chest, probably a sign that she was bold today for her lovey dovey moments.
Makoto's train arrives, but he is spacing out, looping sekai's "forget about me" sentence. He miss his train because of this. Then makoto decides to call sekai on her cellphone. she doesn't reply, and he sends several messages. He is taking the opposite train, and rush like mad. meanwhile, Sekai is extremely depressed while readin his messages.
At some points, they meet up under the rain. she calls him an idiot, and ask why he comes here. Sekai is almost crying, and says makoto is in love with kotonoha. But makoto rushes at her, and hugs her. he says the doom line : he loves sekai. Sekai is nearly crying, and say he can't, and it will hurt kotonoha. but he says it is okay, and lay his hand on her butt. Sekai then looses his hug, and asks several questions about the three of them (most likely thinking about kotonoha feelings). Makoto then apologizes. Sekai calls him "the worst" (well saite), and pervert. but she gives up and takes the "kiss pose", and they kiss.
Back with kotonoha, she is at home, and is staring at makoto's picture in her cellphone. Kokoro barges in, and ask how it was and if makoto will come. Kotonoha is a bit embarassed.
Sekai and Makoto are in her appartmeent, on her bed. I believe sekai said something like "can't do it", but Makoto forced her with a kiss. She tries to stop him, since her mother is still around, but quickly give up. They are obviously having sex, and the camera ends outside.
Nothing to blame on sekai i believe.
simply put, Makoto reaches the "no turning back" point, and it is not really possible to give him any credit here.
It is ironic, considering kotonoha's efforts here.
This episode was really a slow motion trainwreck, despite kotonoha and sekai efforts. Lots of interesting development, but the fustration with Makoto's idiotic behaviour is hard to not nuke the score of this episode. but well... it is the purpose of his character right?
a 8, and the trainwreck didn't really begin yet...
the next episode title isn't in the game either, but i believe the TRUE trainwreck will pop now...
for those of you who has been criticizing kotonoha for her shyness and being "closed off limits" all the time then this is the ep that will throw it all back into your face (in a good way ofc) ~ what we have here is some great development on her character ~ yep she wasnt lying when she said that she will try harder and as i see it right now she is perfect! absolutely perfect ~ if she is willing to be more open with makoto then it is her gain (or not in this case...)
why?
because makoto has his two perverted almost pradetory eyes fixed onto sekai...now what can i say about someone being totally ungreatful? yep he has trapped kotonoha into loving him completely (though he hasnt done much *sigh*) and she eve gives into his urges ~ accepting them as a way to move forward...
proof was at the pool scene where she slips into makoto's arms/chest...he then shamelessly applied pressure onto kotonoha's back which in turn recieved the softness of her chest onto his...but did kotonoha jump back/slap/punch/kick/let out a scream for his actions? nope he didnt...in fact she embraced him tightly...all the time im sure makoto is thinking one thing ~ where is sekai?...

and as some of you might notice thoughtout the whole pool scene we see makoto with his screwed up "i am bored" face whenever he was with kotonoha...and this changes completely when he is facing sekai...and im sure the "makoto touching sekai's ass scene" will leave an impression on just how big of a jackass he is...he cannot control his urges even in public and hello! sekai is not your girlfriend...he then moves onto asking sekai for the continuation of the special training (again! the prick really does have some nerve doesnt he?) ~ how can you ask for such a thing? seriously how? he even asked to touch her breasts again...reaction?
sekai: "saite! hentai! sukebe! erosu! BLEEEEEE!" (go you sekai you tell that thick skulled piece of crap)
makoto tries to tell his true feelings but sekai rejects them ~ cutting him short
as i say thoughout the whole ep ~ we have really seen kotonoha trying her best to not be shy and sure enough after the pool scene we see her holding onto his hand ~ yet again we see his "i am bored/ungreatful" face...soo sekai decides to talk some sense into him (fair move i admit ~ though not timely as it does seem to kotonoha that they have some kind of "special relationship together")
makoto starts to talk about his crap again...but as much crap as it can be i have to agree that he is kinda doing the right thing...he tells sekai that he know and she knows her feelings but yet sekai is the one denying it saying that "they are just friends" and to "forget what happened" ~ okey here im am going to be critical...
to be fair on makoto he is an idiot but he does try to get his feelings right...but with sekai he is totally dismissing his views...not even talking about them with him she says "no you are with kotonoha" ~ to a man that kind of thing is just irresistable...guys will always go for the ones who seem "unattainable" just for the thrill of it i guess...and the fact that it is evident that their personalities are a lot more alike than for makoto and kotonoha imo the right thing to do here would be to set things straight...
sekai is the one still pissing about unsure of her own feelings...yep she has fully accepted for makoto to be with kotonoha but yet she cant hide her feelings of depression...she love makoto but for the wrong reason...she tries to drown out her own feelings by trying to make it clear in her mind that makoto is with kotonoha forever...this is the situation
i would be fine if they cleared things up with kotonoha properly but with such an end im more inclined to believe that they want to keep the one night stand a secret ~ and this is going to be awkward for not only sekai and makoto to face each other in school but also for kotonoha who doesnt have a clue of the things unfolding behind her back...
while i still hate makoto to the core i find his "true to his feelings" attitude a lot more better than sekai's "deny it until the very end" approach...of only she didnt use this method to try and throw her own desires away...if only she didnt effectively seduce makoto into her arms...if only makoto want the type to be swayed easily...
his love is shallow for kotonoha if the first place and it was strictly "skin deep" whereas for sekai he really feels the connection...
what i fear the most is seeing kotonoha breaking down when she finds out the truth...knowing the two bakas they are going to be continuing with their hidden affair which just screams "FCKING HEART PAINS!" later on...
I tell you that Mokoto is living up to his fame as a most complete scumbag that was ever created in any animation adaption ever. After this eps, that I trully like alot, I think that he need to be sent to the Higurashi girls(O.T. btw, I have a chance to look at it last night after this, I am completed shocked about it) for their "special training". Believe me, he wouldnt want to cheat on anybody ever again after that.
^ But it is a nice change, this is not a lead male character that we see on every anime. For me that's the reason why enjoy watching this anime, just to see the wrongdoings of Makoto and how studily Sekai and Kotonoha tend to react towards him.

Yep, he is not going to stop until somebody stops him, that is the reason why we can send him to Higurashi, and then he will be scared of women for the reason of his pitful life. Then he wont ruining everybody else life.
At least people aren't totally bashing on Kotonoha anymore, lol.
Everyone in School Days has faults of some kind. Sekai's is that she just HAD to put in that kiss at the train station near the beginning of the series. That was just a big mistake. And then she went on and pretended over the course of the story that it wasn't anything. What young, emotionally immature schoolboy wouln't be confused and in emotional turmoil at that?
I guess the only truly good people in the story are Kokoro, Setsuna, and I guess Itaru (Makoto's younger sister who looks like won't be appearing in the anime).
Damn, Kotonoha really is trying her best in this episode. Things could have worked out between her and sex starved Makoto after all if Sekai never had her session with him on the roof... what a pity...
So now, Makoto tells Sekai he can't do without her...... Hmm you know how sometimes you watch a show and this kind of line pops up and you get the feeling that things will work out between the two after all ? Well, everything out of Makoto's mouth has the opposite effect on me. The fact he even says this serves almost as a foreshadowing that he'll flip as soon as Kotonoha pulls out the big guns and fight back...
... and how many shots of Taisuke's junk did we get ?

Well, I don't know about feeling a real connection. Everytime he hugs her, we see him grabbing for her ass, so what he feels for Sekai could be just as shallow as what he feels for Kotonoha, but more intense because he gets more... I mean, there has to be a reason why they specifically showed him grabbing for her ass in this supposed romantic moment ... right ?
