Umineko - Requests for new threads

I think the Kanon Thread can wait, till the later Game Episodes and then make a Kanon/shannon Thread out of it. or mash up a Jessica/Kanon or George/Shannon Thread cause we would save slots for other characters and both their character devolopment is deeply tied with George or Jessica. But maybe an Adults-Thread is needed

I agree that besides battler and maria most the 5 other threads should grouped either by families or by general roles, like one topic for the cousins, one af the siblings, one for the servants, etc...

The reason why I didn't make any character thread, even "global" ones is the fact the backstory and such are absolutely lacking and the anime series focalize only on the cousins.

There will be obviously some extra character discussion (3-4 inidividual threads, 2-3 global threads) once Episode 1 is done. But right now, it isn't the good timing.

Since Episode 2, Jessica and George have their own stronger devolpment (especially in Ep 4) not tied with the others cousins. The same goes for Kanon and Shannon wouldn't that be a little bit too much for one thread to handle there would be a mess.

And yes klashikari is right but I think a thread for the Adults is kinda needed since

Yeah I agree, but it might be troublesome to join the topics, unless this show has got a sizeable amount of chaarcter topics.

so the split might give us a lto of characters, though I guess individual cousin topics, as those are prone to be more popular and then the few group topics can work, since it's 4 groups and 4 cousins.

And to add what I've posted before: creating an episode thread earlier for certain series is absolutely not a good idea, and this is the case for Umineko.
In order to focalise the discussion to the said episode, the umineko weekly episode thread is always created right before or right after the episode is aired.

So, how about, you know, some patience?

After just seeing an image with the full cast of Umineko, I was thinking that creating separate anime-spoiler and non spoiler threads for the images would also be useful for anime viewers.

Actually, come to the think of it, no this is impossible to manage.

The problem is like this: what happen if a picture then turns out to be eligible with the anime progression?

Let's say an event from Episode 2. Currently, it should be posted in the game one. However, once the anime reach this point, it should be back in the anime version of image thread.
This is absolutely moot because, either the moderators will be forced to move ALL pictures that are now anime eligible (which is an impossible task).
Or it would mean the members have to repost the same pictures in the other thread.

Simply impossible.

I would rather ask all members to tag EFFICIENTLY their pictures and that all VN readers should report ASAP spoiler pictures and comments untagged.

red truths? They could be added one by one after the anime shows those red texts.

It's would be easier for people to review them when they need to than searching the game thread (which would risk being spoiled).

It is again way too early to introduce such thing: it hasn't yet been introduced in the anime, and putting them in advance will just confuse people even more.

Since there isn't any indication if they will be used in 2-2 or 2-3, the thread shall be created only once it is appearing for the first time.
And please, put a title to your spoiler tag...
