All the ones that don't say "(manga)" on that page are paperback novels. The manga are generally 192 pages, the novels 250+.

Some of those say "manga", some dont say anything at all. I guess those are the novels? Also some say japanese but there are some which dont say japanese but look like the japanese novels. I dont want to get japanese stuff, please someone help me xD
The Japanese editions are label as being In Japanese and are titled Okami to Koshinryo. Don't get those. There is 1 Japanese edition that is not labeled Okami to Koshinryo but it does say Japanese in the label.

The manga has the word manga in the title listing. Example: Spice and Wolf, Vol. 1 (manga). Those are the English translations of the manga.

The novels are titled Spice and Wolf without the word manga in the listing. These are the English translations.

Hope that helps.

Yoshi, they're available from the UK Amazon too so perhaps you'd find that easier, as they're closer so should be a little more Euro friendly.

The ones you'd want would be:
Volume One
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Spice-Wolf-v...1757283&sr=8-2

Volume Two
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Spice-Wolf-N...1757283&sr=8-4

Volume Three (Due in the next...couple of weeks)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Spice-Wolf-v...1757283&sr=8-1

Alternatively United Publications (also UK based) should sell them to you. On thier site go to the Yen Press section, then look under S and you should find them clearly, they're the ones marked 'Novel'. UP are hoping to have volume 3 a little early and have them shipping sometime next week.

Any one that watched the first season anime, on ep 6 lawrence got 120 silver coin from the deal with Milone. That is 5% of the total company profit or half?

Their final profits from the deal with the King were for 2400 silver coins, so he got 5% or 120 coins from that part of the deal.

I guess they are waiting for the last novel (the end) to be released so they can make the third (last) season.

I'd hope so, not going to get my hopes up though given the non apparition of a final Full Metal Panic series once the books finished.

I really would like to see more Spice and Wolf animated though, even if they were arc/book long OVAs instead of series.

I think that they made advance of Anime difficult because they skipped Vol.4.
They need to change a story, or need to go back in the past and do Vol.4.
Otherwise, the story will not be ended because one important character is lacking.

Well in 2-3 years time I'll be able to buy all the LNs in one fell swoop, assuming they still have them in print.

In some sense, even though the series progressed past that, if they find the budget they could still do it by showing it in flashback form, perhaps from Holo's memories when she's reflecting on whats happened whilst they chase Abe.

Either way, there are ways around skipping it first time round

It really shouldn't be too difficult for them to release the material in Volume 4 as a short "between-seasons" kind of OVA. In fact, it would probably make for an excellent "movie" if that sort of thing were possible.

Regardless, it's been a fair bit of time now since Season / Series 2 ended. I wouldn't be at all surprised if some of it's already been completed.

Guys, are there any other Spice and Wolf forums that I can pose some questions to?

I've been looking around, but I can't exactly find what I'm looking for.

That would depend... for what is it you are looking.

Really, I must say that this seems to be ONE OF THE most active.
