It was only just before Shippuden started that I caught up with Naruto anime, so...
What I am curious about is how Kankurou got into the puppet thing. Sasori actually created the puppets. Kankurou had heard of him but never met him.
I think puppeteering is probably an established combat style in the Sand, like the various clans in Konoha.

That was a good ep. 8/10!

Animation quality is extremely important to me, and they've been pretty good with it lately. All the girls looks like they should (a bit sexy) and all the other characters have a cool aura about them.
Neji looks just like he should, as weird as that sounds.
Progression is still pretty good, with a nice hint of comedy here and there. The last minute of the AVI was gold. I usualy skip the previews at the end, but these little comedy extras make me watch my files to the very end.

Right on par with the last ep!

Hmm that quite right but the price is the sealers life. And i dont think akatsuki members are going to offer their lives. So if there is a price i wonder what it is.

As much as cliffhangers frustrates me, I still secretly like them (: now I look forward to the nest episode! Not really surprised Neji looks like the way he does now, looks just like his dad :/ Wasn't really rexpecting a change with Lee, since I was still expecting the green tights. Sneezing when someone talks about you was a nice little touch. Chiyo running made me laugh, and looking at her makes me wonder what Tsunade would look like as well if she looked her real age :/ and I think Ebizou is really cute for an old man (NOT looks wise) I don't know if anyone knows what I mean.. heh heh.

You mean Zetsu (the fly trap guy) i dont think that is the byukagan though it may be similar given his abilities.

I like this episode a lot. It was even better then last week. I like how they did the akatisuki scene so it was not too revealing. I also like the fillers they did. I don't know why but i did not like the whole konohamaru joke. It was just stupid. But other then that it was all good. 9/10

I say it is one of the best so far. I also liked the Akatsuki scene that looked really cool. But this one came kind of early. 8/10

Did they stop with the two week wait for an hour special thing?

I know that...is he going to be immediately sealed into someone or put in a holding place? Or will they be able to rescue Gaara before the process is completed? I know people already know the answer to this, I don't want to be spoiled, just expressing my curiousity.

So then, are there other puppeteers in the Sand besides Kankurou? Sasori said "my successor", which seemed to indicate that Sasori had invented the technique, or maybe he was just talking about those kind of puppets in particular.

If I recall correctly. Sasori was pretty clear when stating that he createt those puppets. What Kankarou was using.

Yes, I know he created the puppets, but that's not the same as inventing the technique of controlling puppets with chakra. I assume that he also invented the technique, but then it's never good to assume too much.

Not to mention, what is up with Sasori appearing to be partly puppet himself?

Yes, I'm full of questions. And that's a good thing.

I doubt he invented the technique; it's probably been a skill since the ancient times. I suspect he just mastered it fully and has brought it to a new level or something.

Now the arc is taking shape and starting to excite me. This is how must be handled.

I was afraid that they would be consuming time in order to get to Suna, but thankfully they did not and came up with a clever cliffhanger that has gotten me to anxious on waiting for next week.

Spoiler:

And just as they were plenty of twists, there were plenty of bad signs as well.

It's a common superstition that people sneeze when someone else is talking about them, nothing to worry about there.

Though I wonder what Tsunade is predicting and what has happened in the past that she might see the signs.

Shippuden in general, especially this episode, at the end of the ep. leaves us in suspense..nothing like Naruto...overall: pretty good.
