Oroka na Tenshi wa Akuma to Odoru is getting an anime adaptation

Synopsis

Akutsu Masatora is a demon who has infiltrated a high school in the human world. His goal is to find candidates to aid Hell in the fight against their natural enemies, the angels of Heaven. Assigned a seat next to Lily Amane, another student who transferred here not long ago, Akutsu falls prey to her beauty and decides to recruit her to his cause.

But there's more to Lily than meets the eye, and Akutsu not only finds himself an accomplice to one of the very enemies he is supposed to defeat, but he also might have developed feelings for her.

Another story about a devil guy transfer to a school. The classroom seating arrangement is a coincidence. The girl next to the guy is a school idol, but it turns out she is a naughty angel. The level of naughtiness is at the level of a dominatrix.

The OP is pretty cute and on-point for this kind of show but I can't help but think they altered it so as to not give away the twist at the end .

That is definitely a class introduction...faking ruining your hair and then getting exposed only to then have your teacher rough you up when he thought you were balding buddies. And then you fall in love at first sight (complete with vocal track!) and make even more of a spectacle of yourself .

Tanigawa seems nice (is that Yoshitaka Yamaya?) and Hirota is the class horndog. The fact that he kept trying to pursue Amane even after she just started rejecting him with a single letter .

"The Angel Seated Right Next to Me Spoils Me Rotten!" - How Akutsu imagines his relationship with Amane going. The best part is thinking sex would follow a night of gaming .

Akutsu had all these sinister plans for Amane but even he can't help but fall her cute charms...and to give himself away by using his demon powers to save her from Truck-kun! Can't let his love interest get Isekai'ed this early into the show .

And so Akutsu is a Demon trying to save Hell since it's fallen on hard times from attacks from Heaven and they need a leader to unite demonkind. Simple enough. It's just too bad he just happened to look for help and sympathy from none other than an angel herself, and a sadistic one at that !

Akutsu can't bear an insult to a fellow demon but while he can break Amane's chains, she's still much more powerful than him. He's only saved because he amuses her enough that she thinks she'll have more fun using him as her dog than exorcising him. Complete with collaring him in the most sexual way possible (they even had to censor it!) and preventing him from going back to Hell. This day definitely did not go how Akutsu expected it too .

But it's not all bad! If the Amane-focused ED is indicative of anything it's that the two will get to experience a lot together and grow closer, right down to having a cute date together. Maybe she will genuinely fall for him like he did her ?

It's so obvious that she's gonna get romantic with him eventually and I know nothing special or interesting is gonna come out of this anime
Probably an okay, forgettable watch

At least he's got a good nature to him. Did step in to protect her. Too bad despite the hints that there was something off...she was too cute to suspect . Well I say too bad, but like you said they'll likely have quite a bit going on between them as the show goes along.

He's definitely taken quite the challenge on here. She's got him by the collar and it won't be an easy road ahead. Though that should make it fairly satisfying as they grow closer.

I actually saw somewhere that the "Foolish Angel" is Akutsu and the devil is Amane .
