So, in the end Subute was the true savior of the world and defeated Akira. Which is ironic since the savior didn't get the girl but his fated enemy did.... just another day in Aquarion.

Well it was a wild ride battle between Logos and Deava wilting down till there is only Vector 0 and Vector Ga remained. Keeping the world distracted with their fight.

Anybody else felt Akira and Subete pulled a Apollo or Apollonius versus Touma with the Sun and Moon behind their backs?

Shouko now is president of Nesta. Hayashi is in jail after being arrested by government troops. Either life imprisonment or in death row.

That reminds me... Akira's always been a badass, but since when does Subete know how to fight? Hand to hand?

An aquarion series with a actual happy ending except for Subete. I guess there won't be any reincarnation from this series later on.

Subete's been trained by Sougon after Mao died and all, no doubts about that, considering how Maia was brought up. Sougon completely believed that Subete would be the Savior.

Hayashi will be out of jail, considering his charges were technically only aiding and abetting.

So the villains of the show are evil because of miscommunications?

Nesta: evil because she was lied to about letter
Sougon: Believed that removing the Logos World was the right thing to do, even if it meant destroying civilization built on the words being removed as concepts.
Hayashi: Along for the ride, since Mao was his sister.
Subete: The one true savior, according to the texts and alignments.

So yes, most of this would have been preventable if the internet and mass media weren't all acting like Channer Trolls with the mudslinging on Mao.

Talk about a lame way to go evil but communication is the theme of this show.

I remember he used to be completely spoiled, though. Even if he trained, I can't imagine it being more brutal than weightlifting and gymnastic. Easy on the gymnastic.

i could have sworn the battle for who's going to sacrifice themselves to save the world is goofy as fuck,
yeah one of them gets the girl in the end while one willingly cockblocks himself as a hero...........yeaaaaaaah
............. well assuming Subete also still has hots for Maia the way,
trying to kill yourself for the sake of the world has never looked like a romantic slapstick comedy........... except more kickass for some reason.

Subete was set up as the child of destiny and kind of a superman who could do anything once his put his mind to it. Him being a capable fighter is along this lines.
The hilarity for most of the show to me was how in spite of that Akira who turned out to be really just a dude with Verbalism power blindly aspiting to be the savior was acing him and anyone else for that matter.

That ending was just as awesome as the ones from the first two series, definitely a nice way to end what is now the anime of the decade.

Actually Akira won the last fight as well. It was only outside interference that let Subete get the last jump in.
