A quickie.

"Natsu, what's wrong?"

No reply...

The look on his face told her that something had upset him enough to make him seek her out. She put down her book and almost immediately Natsu sat down beside her, his hands folded together.

"Today.... it was today."

Today... Ezra quickly thought about today's date ... and understanding dawned in her eyes. That's why he was like this... "Natsu..."

"I know it's been a while since ... that time." Natsu's knuckles turned white with the grip he was putting on himself. "Still..." He blinked as his head was forced down into Ezra's lap of all places. "E-Ezra!?"

"Ssssh," she cooed, running her fingers through his hair. "I understand." When Natsu didn't show signs of resisting her, she continued. "I remember the first time I did this...it was on this day too, wasn't it..."

"Yeah..." Natsu felt himself relaxing, the nostalgic feeling welling up within him as well. "I was crying then too."

"Yes, it took a while but you finally went to sleep on my lap." She smiled as Natsu turned his head to look up at her. "I told you then too - my lap is for you whenver you feel tired or sad."

Natsu's eyes slowly closed as Ezra began to hum some obscure song, her fingers continuing to run through his hair. "Thanks, Ezra."

That's absolutely correct. I stopped watching the anime after episode 8. I may get flamed for this, but with fanservice, sometimes there is too much of a good thing.

Well, here's to hoping that Fairy Tail will get picked up by a good studio soon. It's not so much the story and plots that I want to see animated - I just want to see these characters animated. They're so full of life as they are now - to see them moving and talking and fighting - that would be the highlight of the anime for me.

it would be very... interesting... to see the characters animated

also, the only time when excess amounts of fanservice is good is when there's no plot in the first place (i.e., most hentai... it is just extreme fanservice, after all). Plot+ large amounts of fanservice don't mix well

I'd have a lot of faith :P Hiro won't settle for the masses of mediocre studios. It's either a great studio or no animated series at all for him.

Honestly now, did anyone think that Mira was actually in trouble when they showed her bounded by Gazille? I really didn't - I think I was more '0,0' since she was in the new waitress outfit... Bad me...

...and special mention....'the bunny suit'...

Why would that one be her favorite one anyway...she saving it for Natsu?

didn't think she was in trouble cause Gazille ain't that stupid to do something to her. He failed against FT when he was with Phantom, so no way he would manage anything buy himself.
Thought there was something stupid behind it all but I totally didn't see him singing being one of them, that totally caught me off.

and the Bunny won't be ours cause it belongs to Natsu!
