The first "recap" had me doing a facepalm. The episode was dumb but it had its funny moments. I loved how they brought it back to the real content at the end and explained all that crap as a distraction. I can't wait for it to get back to the actual plot!

The episode was cho~ enjoyable. Don was GREAT!!11 His fireballs are so effectively disguised and his enemies never suspect a thing about the destructive powah. The art in the above frame is great, isn't it? I agree that the episode has seen some sweet overall animation effort that a regular Bleach episode don't see. I suppose the animators are starting to understand the viable marketibility factor the Don brings on the table. Bwahahaha. Just when my brain tried to come online (it was manually turned off to enjoy the episode to the fullest) to question how an Arrancar will be dealt with by these fabulous bunch, enter Honzou with her devastating Riser Doggy Style move. That was cruel. The enemy had no chance. I just couldn't help but notice how proud Ishida sounded when he was describing how the suit enhanced the Erotic Girls power. And finally... Kyaaaaaaaaa... Ururu-chan. Pictures can't do her justice, and nor can words. P.S. So when girls are saying they are off to picking flowers, what they are actually saying, they got to pee. I was always wondering where were the flowers in the bathroom. That lying.... Another mystery solved. Thanks Kon!

This is episode had me laughing to the very end, I agree with TW there's 0 wrong with this episode, its a break from the Semi-Emo story line and it's only going to get better from here on in.

Now that was a funny episode, hilarious first recap (Total WTF! moment).
And it all worked so much better than last one (which I liked as well but which just didn't flow). And caption for this Ulqui: "Don't hate me; I just get to do what all of you are dreaming about!" |

I dont normally find these fillers to be entertaining or funny but to be honest some parts of this episode really made me lol.
Best Kon line ever, while charging his super watch in a regular outlet socket Spoiler for Lol Kon:
Another thing that actually made this episode a lot better then I thought it would be, Spoiler for Oh, Chizuru:

So, at the end of this mini-filler arc Urahara was working in secret on how to prepare the battlefield for the story to return back to the manga
Now that's what I call making use of fillers in a creative way to connect the storyline between arcs. The Karaku-Riser arc was just too damn funny and enjoyable. Not only did we got to see the return of old buddies like Don Kanonji, but actually all the Karaku-Riser members (except for Keigo lame super sprint costume ability) flashed glory in marvelous action scenes; Afro Shinigami included. There's no need for me to post and comment about Karaku-Riser Erotic mean lesbo nature. monir has already covered up that department with the pictures. Now, we get the picture as to why Tatsuki tries so hard to protect Orihime from Chizuru's fiendish nature. That poor, unnamed, female arrancar got the bad end of stick once Karaku-Riser Erotic set her eyes upon her. And BTW, if our heroes are still stucked up at Hueco Mundo, how come Ishida popped-up onscreen to explain the functionality of the costumes? P.S. For some strange reason this frame actually made me laugh: |
