New Code Geass project to be announced on December 5.

The official Twitter account for the Code Geass project announced that a new project in the Code Geass series will be unveiled on December 5 at 8:00 p.m. JST on YouTube Live.

Honestly, I'm surprised they sat on the franchise for this long to begin with.

This title, up to and including Resurrection, was in my top 10 of all time. But now...I don't think I'm looking forward to this....Feels very FSN becoming FGO. Sigh.

Agreed. I now feel so stupid for ranting about the series pace of dialog back in 2008 when the 2nd season production was rushed. I felt that more to the story needed to be flushed out. When Lelouch died, the producers never showed Lelouch's body laid to rest.

Now the whole franchise has become Gundam/Yu-Gi-Oh whereby the protagonist and cast are different with each series. We'll have to see how Code Geass' 10 year plan will turn out. Although I was hoping that CG: Lelouch of the Resurrection would be a 26 episode series instead of another movie with all of its time constants...

I at least respect they're trying to do a better job melding 2D/3D for the Knightmares.
