Looks like Lupin the Third is getting another series (part 5)
Announced at Japan Expo today.

more like Lupin vs Twitter, how he gonna get out of this mess. I like the callbacks to the previous adventures at the beginning.

I am so hyped for the Lupin Game idea. It seems like a neat modern take on the cat and mouse thriller. I just hope it isn't just a plot device meant to be quickly outsmarted by Lupin and thrown aside.

the only demerit of this new part is that the art does not belong to the same team that made the last two films and the spin-off focused on Fujiko Mine.

I'm fine with the art, though my only experiences with the franchise are some old school episodes and all of Fujiko Mine. I tried part IV but the first episode did nothing for me, unlike this one.

Yeah, that sounds more accurate. I just don't care about twitter so the word didn't pop up on my head.

As a side comment, I'm still impressed at how technology is bleeding through in anime, even if it should be obvious.

I didn't get very far into part four either. This looks more promising.

Same director as Moyashimon. Wonder if they'll invite Yamamoto Sayo to direct a couple of episodes along the way?

That was ingenious and lots of fun. That comment about Jigen made me laugh harder than the entire first episode of comic girls, and seeing Goemon fighting a fisherman and a freakin formula car put a smile on my face. I'm in!
