... They're using the primary series to advertise the spin off because at first the spin off was better animated due to more experience with the series and different staff orientation? Despite the main series soon coming to an end with NT? Knowing the average person doesn't read Railgun after watching the anime and sales being independant of Index's?

The fact that you're assuming based on the flow of the story in spite of they're being stuff we don't know (and we're yet to see and "far from seeing" the true form of IT), no announcement from anyone involved about the series ending soon (most series get this when they'll end soon; pretty odd this series' fans keep saying it'll end with no internal proof), there being other directions the story can go, and it being Kamachi story he can do whatever he wants with it.

Your opinion isn't an objective fact in regards to what Dengeki Bunko is making out of one of its most long-running series, though.

If you want to affirm that Index is a stepping stone for Railgun, then actually address my message rather than quote something that's easy to reply to by adding more opinion than fact, possibly? Anime doesn't solely live off its art quality and I'm profoundly disappointed to see that even in 2018, people still don't actually know how the anime industry works at all.
