Sorry, Kakifly, but it just seems to me you're nuts if you bid adieu to the university setting. Here's hoping again he's just merging the story for manageability.

I always assumed that the university side wasn't as popular (in comparison to the newer high school side) in Japan though...

You tend to see less art of the girls in University (or at least not noticably in University) while you can find art of Azusa's bunch with Sumire and Nao. It is rather uncommon to find stuff for Akira and more so for anyone else in the University side of things.

yeah, I'm afraid the domestic pocketbooks may be wanting "never-ending high school"... all I can say is I'll be disappointed if that turns out to be the case (again).

I agree. The one character who we'd expect to be able to speak authoritatively about the prospects of HTT going pro, Yui, is dismissive of the idea. In the University manga, she states that she doesn't get what it means to "go pro," and, for that matter, says that it'd be hard to do even if she wanted to do it. She does state, however, that she is a great fan of playing music because it is fun, and seeing what comes out of that.

Mugi will do anything is it is fun.
Mio and Ritsu would be the ones to think about going pro if any. Yui just doesn't really think of that sort of stuff. If anyone would pressure them into going pro though....it would be Azusa.

Nah I can't see K-ON ever trying to be serious if they do show the college girls going pro it is very likely it would all be Sunshine and Rainbows and nothing would go wrong and they would have no problems on the road to stardom (you can decide if this is good or bad)

I think ya'll are misunderstanding what kind of 'pro' the doujinshi has Yui going that Sumeragi referenced
And I suspect Ui would excel at that as well...

Uhmmmm, some intelligence gathering led me to this. My question: Is there any truth to this. And does it state that the WHOLE K-On manga will end in July (being the University chapters to end in June, so I assume that the HS will end In July as stated). C'mon, hope you guys can give me some optimistic views on this.
