But then again, should you think the exhaustion is ridiculous, think about the foodgasms |

Also, Sixth. I think you need to look at those parts of the story again. Eizan has never, even once, taken Souma seriously. You should also know this.

Now that i think about it, almost everyone in the Elite Ten has a nickname or a theme. - Eizan is the alchemist - Nene is the artisan - Saitou is samurai. - Rindou is the wild explorer, bla bla bla - Tsukasa is the white knight. |

Alright kids everyone settle down. For those of you upset with the whole can't participate because of exhaustion, welcome to shonen manga, where most of the time it relishes on diving head first into tropes to get their story. You don't have to like it, just expect it. Second, can we not turn this into another power level debate when it comes to Eizan? Fact of the matter is, throughout his entire appearance in the series, his Alquimista title should just be him turning everything he touches into money, with very little showing of his food skills, and the fact that throughout said series he's been using nothing but cheap tricks to get what he wants instead of saving himself the hassle of Souma by just being serious, pretty much has taken away any real merit of us as the readers to take him seriously as an actual opponent, not because of Rindou's explanations, not because of the judges being his professional suckers of his dic, emm, associates, but by what the author has shown. Will this next bout show his actual skills as a chef? No doubt, but we still won't take him seriously as an opponent no matter how hard the author tries. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised that between the 2nd and 3rd bout days, Azami himself instructed him to throw a wrench at the rebel's plans because that's all he's been known to be throughout the series, a thug obsessed with profit and nothing more. Anyway, back on topic, you guys wanna bet that for the third bout one of the secret weapons for the rebels will be Souma bringing back the Mezzaluna?

Regarding how exhausted they become after cooking, let's not forget this is a cooking battle where they have to make the best dish. When serving many customers, it's all about making enough dishes that are acceptable and so they don't have to be at 100%. But in cooking battle they need to ensure that their procedures must be as detailed as possible without making even a slight mistake, otherwise their dish won't be at 100%. This can be very exhausting physically and mentally.

Remember the power rankings the author made few months ago showing that:
Tsukasa > Megishima > Isshiki > Momo > Erina > Souma/Megumi/Takumi > Nene It looks like it is true after seeing the latest chapter. Rindou is between Tsukasa and Megishima. Saitou should be somewhere around Erina's level. Eizan should be at least Souma/Takumi/Megumi's level but below Momo. Kuga and Mimasaka are probably around Souma/Takumi/Megumi's level. |

Erina's plan was great. And yeah, I think Knighto's right. The problem that Rindou, Tsukasa and Saitou are facing is that of mental and physical fatigue being added on. If you read Erina's explanation of the plan and then look at what happened, you should get it.
Anyway, if Souma, Megumi and Takumi are below Erina, Rindou and Tsukasa, they can't beat Tsukasa and Rindou. Souma will have to team up with Erina and Isshiki for that bout.

Am I really reading a cooking manga? @_@
Tsukasa can cook 9-course meals many times in a day but was drained 2 hours cooking a single course? Fvcking BS. Author needs a reality check.
