It is 吸精 (kyuu-sei) and to be acurate first part is suck and second can be anything from energy/vigour to semen, certainly not seed, as the translation I watched, but anyone will get the point, and probably get less offended, or at least that what the translator thought.

Yeah, if possible that's the way I'd want her to take it as- Lotte is just a demon forced to live by sucking the life force out of males because she's a succubus, and after that hump, the series takes care of itself fine. But the problem is CR's subs use the life-seed translation and well... one could take that in different ways.

Fanservice and little girls aren't the problem. She's watched much and enjoys that in the past. It's this time the story premise is the issue I have with recommending the series and why I'm hesitant because I don't want to give her the wrong messages.

And yeah, this is pretty much the issue I have with.

Not that I believe the show is about that, I mean, I said I follow the manga and the show, I know that's not a major factor of it and it's really just a cute lolita-type show. But there's the fear that it may be taken that way.

Oh well, I told her to go ahead and try it, may someone have mercy on my soul if it turns out bad.

In between, CR translated kyuusei as life seed, while it literally means drain/suck-able semen or vitality (depending on the context), still everyone will understand what they mean.

Also I can see why many would have a problem, it easier to accept something sleazy implied, yet not shown, rather clearly stated but not done

As for winkel's RL-loli, don't know; it really depends on the person and circumstances; plus you can always joke about it, since lying is the quintessential part of every relationship

EDIT: By the way, should it be a real life 10 y.o. with a 23 one, I would have a lot of problems with it, but it is not!

Kaishaku handled it fine in Enban Oujo Valkyrie. Plus Rotte is not human, who knows sexual maturity might be achieved at 10... scratch that actually that's the case as Judith already stated.

The argument is moot IMHO. This is not real life! For that check Koi Kaze, which depicts a very realistic situation... very tastefully

That part kept me completely interested the whole episode, which I thought did a good job of keeping my eyes from the other objects onscreen At first I thought things might be going slow, but that's a part of the surprise for me; I'm willing to see how they go about doing that, and what subtle changes awaits.

You know, I've been wondering. You know how it is where some authors/artist want a particular voice actress to voice their characters, I think I read once where an author actually created a character around that voice, maybe, just maybe it's the case with Lotte and Aria, maybe it's what they wanted because they feel it fits their character better. That could also mean nobody has ever tried finding someone else, but I'll be a U-boot Captain if there just isn't someone like Kugumiya out there
