Rumors for a potential Second Season of Regios in Spring 2010 are floating around
Found out this on Wikipedia.
Chrome Shelled Regios season 2 (It has been verified that from April 2010, Bandai will proceed with the character designs while Tamayaki begins plot development))If anyone can get some more info, then maybe this is enough evidence for an upcoming new season? |

I've tried several usual location to obtain additional, but no success thus far. I haven't checked Moonphase's diary yet. If they have something on it, then it is more than likely a legit claim by this poster in Wiki.

Indeed its still just a rumor, but like Tamayaki said " I feel like we left so much unsaid and this series has far more potential that we will like too bring out" Which was one of the hints for the new series.
At any rate all I can say is that next year perhaps in January or February we will know, if not then perhaps in april, if not then either then it was just a rumor and we just have too hope that some time in the future they made that one decision on making a second season. |

A second season? Well they left S1 with a open ending with Dixerio Maskane
stating that it was only the beginning of their war before he said farewell to Nina. That alone gave already a hint on a possible next season, either way, i'll keep checking the rumors. |

not sure about the manga but the series takes parts from around 6-7 of the light novels but it still has quite a few fillers that are not in the novels.

The anime is an adaptation of the novels: Book 1-6 (including some sections of Vol 7). The anime has missed a lot of things that are mentioned in the novels. As for where the anime ends in the novels, the last chapter of Vol 6 shows an obvious point of departure from the anime ending.

The other novels don't focus on Layfon or friends at all. They are standalone stories that explain a few aspects of the Regios Universe.
Legend of Regios novels deal with "How was the world of Regios created", like the Bible Genesis. Elements of it (characters, concepts, etc) get incorporated later in the main Chrome Shelled Regios novels. The Regios Crusade is centered around one character who appear in both Legend of Regios and Chrome Shelled Regios at some point...Kind of link both "time period" together. |
