Question Need Help Connecting My Xbox 360 To My Monitor

as the title says I'm trying to figure out how I can (semi-indirectly) connect my Xbox 360 to my Computer monitor, and I got a few cables in an attempt to get this working
well to put it this way, here's a diagram of what i'm trying to do

as you can see, I'm trying to get the sound to work as well, any help will be greatly appreciated

So... let me see if I have this correct.

1. Xbox outputs via VGA adapter into computer
2. Computer then outputs video via another VGA connection to monitor - audio to computer speaks

Wouldn't it be easier to utilize your monitor's DVI port instead of rerouting the VGA signal all over the place?

These would've been good to save the misery of having too many being interconnected but I guess he doesn't want to spend $40... yet.

Anyway, I think he's trying to find a way to capture his game sessions with a video input card (ala Fraps) while using a monitor at the same time.

Sound is the easy part of your diagram, Just get a RCA->3.5mm adaptor and run it into the "Line In" port. Your speakers can then connect to the standard output port
