many points on the steins gate are actually came in reality basis...
1. there was John Titor which is my personally i believe him.. 2. SERN (in actual that is CERN), well they try to make some time travel using the LHC... 3. i believe that alternate history is exists... because of John Titor's predictions, there are some events came true and others are not. i'll keep watching this series for the time travel lectures...

That shrine maid.. manden is a trap? I refuse to believe it! She doesnt have any Adam Apple on her neck!. Yes, they never show that in anime but still she doesnt have one!

Ugh, I think if I read one more post whining about how Ruka is a guy, I will scream. =_= I mean, I knew the otakus would complain, but this is just getting ridiculous now.

Was actually planning to skip this since I heard it was something of a sequel to Chaos Head, a series which I didn't particularly care for too much, though I'm glad that due to massive boredom, this didn't turn out to be the case.
The artwork for the anime, not to mention the game after seeing some screenshots, definitely does a better job at conveying the mysterious sci-fi elements of the series. The protagonist, while delusional is also intelligent, which makes it harder for the viewer to guess what's really happening. And the cast introduced all feel like they have some sort of greater purpose and aren't just tacked on for the sake of it. So far, it's looking to be better than Chaos Head, which I think dwelt to much into the geeky otaku aspects over the main plot while Steins Gate strikes a nicer balance between the two. Hoping this is one series which maintains its momentum and doesn't fall flat later on. |

Steins;Gate tries to be funny. On some levels, it succeeds. Other times, I feel like I'm watching an insane college student going bananas. And microwaving them.
Perhaps the most intriguing parts are the serious considerations of time-travelling. Alas, if I'm going to stick with this show, I'm going to need some more of that. |

Also, the way you express it is... rather disturbing.
