For something like Haruhi, especially the part about a well-rounded cast, try the ongoing Toradora.

Two other random series with very colorful casts of unique characters: Higurashi and Baccano.

I started watching higurashi yesterday after a friend recomended it.

I recently got better ineternet, so i will be watching alot of anime now that i finally can

Looking for ~5-10 series, 12-26ish eps long.

I just finished Idolmaster Xenoglosia today, and it was -very- reminiscent of Mai Hime. Story kindasorta, but art and animation particularly. Storywise it's somwhere between Mai Hime and Stellvia.

Also, does anyone know one like AIR? One with a great love story or something, and able to bring a tear to my eye(I have not cried in many years, until i watched air Dx) Currently the main type of anime i feel like watching

preferably with a happy ending :*(
