I immediately figured out the attack wasn't real, it would have been too much and too abrupt of a mood shift. I thought it was a test though, not a hardcore evacuation drill.

It was nice to see a bit of fighting anyway.

She really does need to work on that. If she'd spent less time worrying about how she's not as awesome as Anne and more time focusing on what she was supposed to be doing, she probably would have been a lot more successful in this drill.

Watched episode 5:

It's just a school evacuation drill... but what happened to the golem is a good example of what will happen to someone who tries to hurt Grea when Anne is around.

I was wondering why there was an attack on the school so suddenly that would cost the lives of many students and faculty, which would massively shift the tone of the show...but I only cemented the thought of it being a drill seconds before it became obvious that it was a school drill.

Poor Anne. She really just wanted to be in on the fun and protect her friend.

Possibly Grea's dragon power is uncontrollable or corrupting if she were to fully cut lose? In the original trailer her arm even started to transform, which can't be a good sign.

Did you mean Grea, or the president? From her cardgame quotes Grea seems to feel that she's not so strong as Anne. Is it essential for the writers to make the most visibly powerful leading lady a shrinking violet for her to be likeable? Anne even has a very average figure beside Grea. It worked for Hyuuga Hinata, and I love Grea's character, but it sounds like ep5 wasn't a Hinata vs Neji moment when Hinata/Grea really showed/discovered her inner strength; hopefully that will come with the ending.

According to the wiki, Grea's Likes are; Anne, and egg sandwiches from the canteen. How sweet.

I actually caved in and read some wiki articles about RoB and the Manaria events. I will just say Grea is by no means weaker than Anne.

I don't think Grea has an inferiority complex, I was following on from Random Wanderer's post on that subject with my own related idea that Grea considers herself to be effectively weaker than Anne, without yet having a complex. I base this idea mainly on the card quote from RoB;

"I tried to protect the school while you were away, but I couldn't. I'm sorry, Anne... I just wasn't as strong as you!"

Of course this is just a stage in their relationship I hope and expect that Grea moved forward from, but at present it would be hard to imagine from her bashful manner that she has as much self-confidence as Anne (She may well be as strong, but her confidence issues and possible dragon-power side effects effectively bring her strength down).

The important thing, which we can actually see in the series with Anne always taking the initiative, needing to cram much less and so on, is their relationship dynamic. At present Anne is the top-dog to Grea's underdog, the knight in shining armour to Grea's dragon-damsel, the prom queen to Grea's sexy exchange student, the Yang to Grea's Ying, even the seme to Grea's uke, or possibly not...though their relationship isn't so simplistic, and I'm sure it will grow further, these archetypes are part of the explanation for their cuteness.

You're interpreting that quote without context. Grea wasn't strong enough in that event because she was holding back.

That's my point, holding back reduces her effective strength. I think we can fairly judge what Grea thinks of herself, which I'm more concerned with than her actual strength, from what she says in the quote and has done in the anime series so far.

Anne's love hits with the strenght of Odin, and her attendance to school is kind of a mere formality at this point, or at least it would be if it weren't for Grea. A true protagonist through and through.

Beach episode! Anne is more busty than I thought, but of course Grea has her largely beaten. It was refreshing to have Grea take the lead this time, albeit not completely (sleepovers! her one weakness!).

The volleyball match was pretty funny. Purple girl is hardcore

Some very... choice camera angles in this episode.

It feels kind of good to see the tables turned, with Anne frightened and clingy while Grea calmly takes the lead. There's some real sweetness in Grea helping Anne overcome her fear of water while still being right there by her side to help her if needed. Also, that princess carry in the water...

Really, everything thse two do together is cute and sweet. I would glad watch a full-length series (or two, or ten) of them doing stuff like this and deepening their relationship.

Wait, has that purple haired girl shown up before? Because I want more of her, she's fun! Seeing kouhai-chan turn into a guided magical missile was hilarious! Not that Anne and Grea's private swimming session wasn't great, but in a completely different way, much sweeter... and erotic It is indeed nice seeing Grea take control for a change, which somehow made her feel even kinder and more gentle than usual, but the again, it's for Anne, so maybe it shouldn't surprise me. That said, I'm glad to see Anne hasn't given up on her pajama party, because that sounds adorable.

is it me or does it feel like they took out parts of the episode for the BD? it seem like during the lesson they were skip parts, the one part that stick out in my mind was when grea told anne " you need to relax more" she made a body movement as if she was suppose to do something before camera switch to the underwater view

You know if they were actually dating it would not have been Grea's tail Anne would have been playing with while hiding under the desk. Also Anne is the perfect height to hug Grea as shown at the end of the hide and seek game

I can't make up my mind if she was actually doing that, or just trying to make Grea think she was in revenge for Grea making her cry during hide and seek.

I sometimes wonder how much of the innuendo in this series is intentional, both in and out of universe. "Guess we're getting wet" ...wow.

Ok, I'm finally convinced, Anne wants that dragon tail HARD Easily my favorite episode so far because of how blatant and funny it was, and there was even enough time to put some of Anne's lonely bunny mode in., and that last part, my god, I was both scared and eager to see what would happen.
