Since Shiori will be 22nd december, Kanon's CD should come out this week.
Quote:
I call them modes. Like KnS Elsie mode, Ayumi mode and Mio mode. The full TV version I call KnS feat. Ayumi, Mio etc. Well, Kanon's character album's out now. Not sure how I should describe Kanon's Koi no Shirushi, but it's surprising how they can use the same song and make each version sound really distingishable and nice! One thing which could have been better was Toyama Nao's actual voice here, I think it lacks a bit of a passionate feeling. Happy Crescent is good. But having listened to it a few times now, I'm somehow missing Kanon dancing to it. xD Again, I loved her dancing and gestures during the Happy Crescent scene. The instrumental version is just as catchy. Btw. what kind of impact do the CD sales have and are the sale rates good so far?

(Also, there's a difference between Koi no Shirushi feat. <<name>> and Koi no Shirushi by <<name>>. That's the reason I call them <<name>>'s Koi no Shirushi, cus' it's by <<name>>) Featuring.... TADAH! Kanon's Character Single! 1. Happy Cresent This is the reason why everyone HAS to love Kanon's songs. Sure, Kanon can be a bit of a rookie, but add a few charms, techno beats, and greeat melody, and you have a highly addictive song. Happy Cresent > Oh Mai God! > Last Dance > Hajmete no Iro > Wonder Chance 2. Koi no Shirushi by Kanon I love the beginning. Not so much the chorus, though. The ending of each line gives it away. She should have lengthened the ending notes a bit. But hey, the instrumentals are awesome! By Koi no Shirushi Modes Elsie > (Mio = Ayumi) > Kanon

Just to list all the different Koi no Shirushi including instrumentals:
Koi no Shirushi feat. All (5) Girls Koi no Shirushi feat. Ayumi Koi no Shirushi feat. Mio Koi no Shirushi feat. Kanon Koi no Shirushi feat. Shiori Koi no Shirushi -instrumental- Koi no Shirushi by Elsie Koi no Shirushi by Elsie -instrumental- Koi no Shirushi by Ayumi Koi no Shirushi by Ayumi -instrumental- Koi no Shirushi by Mio Koi no Shirushi by Mio -instrumental- Koi no Shirushi by Kanon Koi no Shirushi by Kanon -instrumental- Koi no Shirushi by Shiori Koi no Shirushi by Shiori -instrumental- KnS x 16 altogether, nifty amount. They could have theoretically included a Koi no Shirushi feat. Elsie but no need to overdo it, and the one played at the end of episode 8 was instead her own version.

Ah hey, I can't forgive myself for even thinking once that I could get tired of all the Koi no Shirushis! Why is that? Well, just listen to KnS by Shiori, it sure as hell doesn't sound as KnS~ish as the other versions. Only Kana Hanazawa's beautiful voice makes it distingishable as the instrumental version kind of has its own nice vibes, but no problem there at all... I'm liking it, a lot. Now the KnS collection is complete!~
And props to Hanakana-sama for making this one give me less Kuroneko vibes as the KnS feat. Shiori gave me some. Not like it was bad but I prefer it this way. Seconded.

Time for Reviews...and this time...it's all complete!
1. Kuchibue Jet Perfect song for the slient-yet-wanting-to-talk bookworm. =P The ballad is perfect, it's just uniquely good. Happy Cresent > Oh Mai God! > Last Dance > Kuchibue Jet = Hajmete no Iro > Wonder Chance 2. Koi no Shirushi from Shiori First comment: Yay for techno pop + little symphany mix =D Second comment: Probably the best voice in the capturing girls. Second to Kanon in KnS voicing (not the chorus though, it's a different story) So yeah, it's one of those perfect KnS, like Elsie's. It's silencing. It's more techno pop. It sounds like more than perfect karaoke beating XD. What more can you ask? XD Can there be a Keima version? loool. (Elsie >= Shiori) > (Mio = Ayumi) > Kanon

So listening to all the versions of Koi no Shirushi my ranking:
1. Kami Nomi zo Shiri-tai/Group Version; Undoubtedly the best version of the song . 2. Koi no Shirushi from Kanon [Character Song Version], the singing is amazing in this version and I love the instrumentals to it . 3. Tie From Mio, and From Ayumi Versions; both have really great singing and instrumental versions I like 5. Feat. Shiori Her calming voice works very well with the original version of the song. [Original/Album version, Not Character Song] 6. Feat. Kanon, ok I am bit bias here since I really like Kanon's singing . 7. Feat. Ayumi, memorable as the first version of this song we get to hear , plus I love Ayana's singing . 8. From Shiori, I still really like this one, but it didn't quite fit Shiori's character, still great version of the song though. 9. Feat. Mio, While I like Mio's singing compared to her character song version her original version just didn't seem nearly as good xD. 10. From Elsie, while I love Elsie's singing compared to other the character song versions her instrumentals are a tad odd for the song, though I suppose they fit her . Though to note I have liked all 10 versions of the song .

If it's ranking
Happy Cresent => Last Dance > Kuchibue Jet > Oh My God! > Wonder Chance. Happy Cresent is just so highly addicting and I like Last Dance because that's my favorite genre and the hype at first of the song that would make you dance is nice.

some would argue that the better version would be kanon's but shiori's version is something i could only describe as dripping with sweetness and i couldn't put it any other way.
i'm surprised that ants didn't come out and ate through the speakers as shiori's version was playing |
