Psychological Anime?

I'm looking for anime that stimulate the mind. Some psychological anime I've watched and enjoyed are: Death Note, Eden of the East, Welcome to the NHK. There's probably more but I can't think of any at the moment. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Ghost Hound, for sure. It's probably the most interesting psychologically-based anime I've seen. Paranoia Agent (R.I.P. Satoshi Kon) is another great one.

Not sure what a psychological anime is, but Trapeze is a series about psychiatry.

Try Paranoia Agent. Old though if you're concerned about animation crispness

- Noein
- Kino no Tabi

I would also like to suggest Armed librarians It seems there are plots going on no one knows about and it is quite action filled.

Thank you for all your input everyone. I have just finished watching Paranoia Agent and Monster thanks to your suggestions. I must say I enjoyed Monster a lot more, but they're both excellent anime. Thanks again everyone.
