I find it difficult to believe Yuuko passed on without first having a proper burial. There should have been Eyewitness News vans and headlines screaming "Body found in basement of old school building." Grandma's penance should have come from telling Yukko's story to the world, not just her granddaughter.

I don't care about any of that. I just want a proper Yuuko x Niiya end. Is that so unfeasible? Is that so wrong? Why can't they be happy?
If it turns out this was all to teach the characters how to 'move on' I am going to be pissed.

Didn't we all know this day would come eventually? Teiichi will graduate eventually and Yuuko was never allowed to wander outside the school.
I do agree that we should see Yuuko and Teiichi happy together considering they've done nothing to deserve a sad ending, but what we've seen so far about Yuuko's past is far superior to the anime in storytelling. |

That's being delusional. Pretty much any chance of an ending of "Yuuko passed on" was shot down when she passed on that early, now we can appreciate what kind of effect her absence has in the cast (specially on Teiichi); now there is no way she is going to be dropped from being the focal point. Furthermore since there it was so much drama and anguish being played on her departure, it's pretty obvious that we are in for a touching reunion later, things are not going to end like this.

I wouldn't cry over a Kirie Teichi ending but I really would like Yuuko to come back

Naturally. They are kids after all, they both have a lot of growing up to do and Kirie is a nice girl deep down, so yeah.

Talking about "ending" in regards of school kids is kind of funny. They are way too young to talk about ending girl (or boy). Al we could talk is how Teiichi and others has grown up thanks to their relationship with Yuuko. A part of growing up is to realize that "happy ending" usually doesn't happen at all, at best is temporary.
