I'm going to have to do a lot of work on these before the convention next month.

The Comet Empire battleship's tower guns are also turrets now.

Plus whatever those were that were piercing the Earth frigates looked to be a new type of fighter, as they were on the decks of the super huge Twin Decked Carrrier.

Oh...so she's captain of the Laboratory (battleship) Prometheus than? Which we guess is were the rest of Yamato's crew is right now. Sitting in one of the temporal rifts....working on something? I thought they said people couldn't survive in there for more than an hour, even in the suits? Or will the battleship's wave motion engine help with that? Though they might have aged a bit when they get out. But what are they doing?

Perhaps more factories to build more ships? Or having Yamato's team tweak ships so some are better than the standard production group? Construction of BBY-02 and BBY-03?

Just a lot of questions around that one. What little we see suggests that Earth was very, very busy building a massive fleet while Yamato was away. Either highly automated or completely automated, because that would a lot of crew to train to fill up what could be thousands of ships. Even if they have only a bridge crew and maybe a small engineering staff and gunnery crew, that is still a large number of humans.

I wonder if SHUNTARO YASUDA was that guy from Space Battleship Yamato 2 as the captain of the Hyperion Fleet know as Captain Slate from Starblazers season 2 maybe not.

Maybe, though I think that guy had glasses.

The captain with the white beard reminds me of the guy that was in command of the fleet in the movie version of these events. He commanded Andromeda and had no name that I know of. He is probably one of the other Andromeda captains this time around.

I do wonder about any significance of Captain Todo's uniform colors. That and her pilot have different colors than normal in the fleet. her pilot (or perhaps helm officer) has the usual green for navigation, but a black uniform like Yamamoto use to have, before she went to a red outfit (which is probably the until now unseen female combat team uniform version opposite Kodai's male combat team uniform.) The uniform stylings are a bit different with the Andromeda captains having blue collars rather than Hijikata's red/orange collar, or Captain Yamanami's green collar from when he was in command of the Kirishima.

Captain Todo's hair and eyes suggest she was from Mars, or at least one of her parents was a Martian, like Yamamoto. The question of course is, is she this series version of Akiko Tōdō, the Commander's granddaughter, or even related at all to that family.

Yet the Interplanetary War. been mentioned needs a movie of it as a prequel of the Yamato 2199 like how Mars got Terraformed before that war between humans and martians and the development of their own space fleet before the Gamilons came.

Best guess is that the Martian colonists declared independence at some point earlier in the 22nd century. Or there was some other dispute between Mars and Earth over resources or territory in the Solar System, resulting in space combat. Be it to prevent interplanetary missiles from hitting each other, or they dropped rocks on each other, I don't remember exactly, but the underground cities are supposedly a left over from those war and expanded on when Gamilas started the Planet Bombing campaign. Those wars were why Earth had a fleet at all when Gamilas arrived, and why Earth thought it to fight...they defeated Mars, and eventually had to relocated that population back to Earth (Either because Earth bomb it to the point the terraforming failed, or they needed to restart the Terraforming project after the Gamilas started attacking (though from what I understand, Yamamoto's family was relocated before the Gamilas arrived.)

Supposedly, the design for the Cosmo Tiger I was a Martian design from the previous war that either didn't see service, or was produced late in the conflict and a surviving copy was found after the Gamilas left the system. It is unstable a all get out, and it takes an extremely skilled pilot to even fly it, much less make it effective. Thus Yamamoto has it.

Earth ships seemed to already have the positron shock cannon bows on at least some of their ships when the war with Gamilas started, so they are either an weapon they came up with to fight Mars, a Martian weapon to fight Earth that was latered copied, or a weapon built in the aftermath from what was learned during that war and some ships were rebuilt with the new technology just before Gamilas arrived.

Judging by how long Earth held out, Earth ships could put up a fight against the Gamilas. They only one major battle in the first years of the war (over Mars), and at Pluto, it seemed like the Earth crews expected their weapons to work against the Gamilas armor, but it didn't. Which suggested that either their expected tech upgrade wasn't enough as predicted, the Gamilas added more armor since the last engagement, or someone lied to the crews to get them to go. Earth was desperate, but somehow I think it was that the Gamilas added more armor to their ships, making them practically invincible to most Earth weapon they knew about at that time. Prior to that, I suspect Earth ships could damage Gamilas ships are short ranges, and with concentrated fire or use of the bow cannons, could defeat enemy ships. The problem of course is that Gamilas ships could cut through most Earth ships like butter, so losses would always be high, losing several ships for every one Gamilas ship lost.

The Battle of Saturn in this Remake will be an epic battle i wish they have Dogfights between EDF Cosmo Falcons and Cosmo Tiger 2s against the Comet Empire Space Scorpions and other planes they have while those ships are starting to blow each others brains out on Saturnian Space.

Thank you for these translations but I do have to ask where in those profiles is the Prometheus mentioned. They use the vague term "mystery ship" but that's it. It can be assumed it is the Prometheus, given her appearence in the trailer, and both characters are shown right after, but she is not explicitly mentioned in the profiles.

Kato been crying in the video trailer that means the moon got bombard and reduced into a molten ball of fire just like in the original series in season 2 TV series when the Gatlantis Fortress comes in and Zordar Decide to demonstrate his show of force by bombarding the moon and reduced it into a flaming ball of fire and the moon base would be destroyed forcing the Humans to surrender when they got demoralized.

Probably. Though it seem early for that. There will be eight more episodes after the end of Chapter 5. Two whole chapters to go. If Gatlantis is in the Sol System, and basically at Earth (slagging the Moon), that's two chapters of it being their until the end of the series. Unless they plan to throw us a curve ending that's up into a short Post-Gatlantis War chapter to show either what happens next, or sets up for the next series.

What happen to the Post Gatlantis War the Gamilon Embassy had rebuild on the earth since their previous Embassy on the moon been destroyed and i wonder if the Battle Satellites of the EDF had a pack of punch as a last desperate act against the Comet Empire fleet than been. had a having a weak firepower from season 2 tv series. like fire their main weapons then it.s pathetically weak and got easily destroyed by the Comet Empire Destroyers.

Oh No Andromeda got destroyed they should spared that ship and it.s sister vessels because they.re more popular though if they got a role on the Dark Nebula Series.

The Calakmul Class Battleships main frontal guns can fire normal lasers instead of a Ridiculous Laser Whirlpool of Death from Season 2 TV Series in the battle of Saturn when it fires a powerful pink laser as it hits the target causing a whirlpool then it explodes. when Captain Slate and the Hyperion Fleet been decimated.

I imagine the ring weapons from earlier in the series will be the ones to fire the huge beams of death like in the older Second Season of the TV show. However we don't know yet if the Huge Carrier will have any special weapons on her. We know the Megaruusa types will still have their magnaflame guns.

There is a brief scene in the trailer of several large green beams heading towards the Earth fleet, with the five Andromeda's visible. But I think their shields will stop this attack, followed by the newer Earth Dreadnoughts all warping in behind them.

and No signs of those Space Submarines this time around in the remake version of the battle of saturn. unlike in the original movie had used against the earth fleet. in the battle of saturn and the season 2 tv series been appeared on attacking the yamato only been destroyed by dropping space depth charges and never seen again on later episodes.
