Awesome. I'll put back my comment about your post as well as I can remember it: I like the layout and presentation of those photos. Did you make each thumbnail focus on a particular interesting part of each photo too?
Well, something like that. |

LOL lwl12! Yeah I remember that your reply what something like that too
It would have been a shame if NightWish didn't find a copy of it indeed ( because REwriting long detailed post is kind of discouraging ) Anyway, those photos are great, and I particularly like the contrast of colours in the last one very much

@Nightwish,
really nice photographs. Those monks are funny... wearing shoes which make them appear like 5cm higher. I didn't even notice that the traffic lights are arranged horizontal, is this common practice there? Anyway, you have an eye for photogenic motives.

Aquarium
I visited an Aquarium Museum during last summer, and I took some pics for you
I've always found those "blue-light" fishes very nice Look! That's Nemo! XD! LOL! The fish tried to escape my photo shot, but it turned out really well I think ^^; I really like the colors in this one: I was surprised to see this pic at first, yeah I thought I was dumb to take a pic with no fish ( if you don't count the little ones behind)... ...but then I realized that I have been fooled! Spoiler:
Here's a strange veggie O_o; This one is creepy >_< Those transparent fishes are really entertaining to look at, I mean you can see what's inside them I think they are called "glass-fish" or something like that...^^; And finally, a little seahorse ^__^ Spoiler for Babak:

The passion for photography raised in my a couple of years ago, while during a graduation ceremony I was in charge to do some pics, so they give an (enhanced) camera to make them. Again last spring (2005) during a brief trip the will to get a my own camera increased, since seeing my friends and the beautiful pics they made.
So I saved a bit of money and a couple of weeks ago I've bought this one: Canon Powershot A620. It has a lot I've to learn about it, though. For the moment, I can just provide a pic of my baka-neko took when he was sleeping. His name is Melly (feminine name, because we thought he was a female, at the very beginning), he's almost 9 years old now. Here it is, in all his hugeness : When the season will be better, I will try to grant something. So far, my preferred subjects are: the clouds, (especially at the sunset) , the trees, the birds, the green (meant as nature in all its marvellousness) and all the kind of animals. I'd like to portray landscapes too, but I don't live in a very spectacular zone (flat land... but near the sea!). Still I'll try to manage my best ^^ Helly, nice report My humble highlights about it: My personal favourite among these ones: I love the colours in the first place, and these colours contrasts are just plain sweet This is very cool as well, it features a good amount of different colours, and nice both subjects than background. The seahorse has to be one of my favourite creatures among the sea, along with the dolphins. It is just so plain sweet. I always remember when I was a kid, and I had the chance to see a few of them very closely at the sea. ^^ Quote:
Last note, compared to other fishes, he lived a lot (I think something like 4-5 years). We didn't even notice immediately when he died, we were just guessing if he was performing one of its "let's see who hids himself better" with his fellows. But that was the last disappearing I sort of miss him (I know I should be supposed to say "it", but I'd just rather say "him"/"her", since I feel that animals are closer to me than many humans actually are). He was a smart and funny guy, after all.

Is this real?
I myself have never been to this place in Japan but do they really have some giant girl above a rail D:
Spoiler:
It does look kind of fake but still it might just look that way because of the point of view one is looking at. |

I have new pics of Melly
Looking around.. "Oh... what's there? Is that a rat? Exploring brings to be tired. Sleeping ^^ But for being photographed you also need to awake .. Eto... even if you had let me sleep, I wouldn't have mind... Bah.. it can't be helped, let's polish a bit.. *squish squish* Meowgrrr..!! Please.. I beg you.. let me alone.. It's ok, good cat. I'll leave you alone now. *turns off the lights*. Oyasumi ^^ Quote:
But yes, it's good. Because when you just want to break a bit the boring hot summer, just take and go to the sea. Lot of turists, new people to know, fun, and also part-time jobs (thus money ^^). And from this year.. nice pictures (hopefully ^^) Quote:
I had the chance of choice between also among the lighter ones, but I preferred to go on a heavier model since I thought that if it were too slim I could have lost handleness with it Quote:
I love Scandinavia so much. It's one of the better places to portray landscapes. Some friends of mine were to Norway last year and brought home really incredible pics (such as the sun at 2 a.m.). You are very lucky to live over there ^^ Quote:
Is that a doll? Speaking of it, my mother has a scary passion for dolls & puppets. And for scary I mean scary Here's a random one I've shot, among the billions we have at home. Uploading, it came out 90° reversed. Sorry for that. It's a fairy. Her name is Acetosella
