So...did anyone notice the significance of the scene when Suzuya goes to the right side of Shinohara while leaving for lunch with him? I guess Suzuya did so after watching that kid holding hands to the right side of his father. Suzuya considers Shinohara as a father figure now.
I've seen some comments from other boards such as MAL that this anime lacks character interactions, I think this scene animated is a solid answer given to them. |

Well looks like we are getting our first taste of the dub
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydW6GbqOnC8 I can's say I am too fond of Kaneki's voice. I get he has changed but still that voice doesn't suit him imo.

The whole conversation sounds really bad. either these voice actors aren't very good or these conversations just don't work out when translated to English. I'm betting it's the latter. |

Hinami-chan is such a good girl, she wondered if there was something she could do for his oni-chan and then the chance rose. And she didn't fail. Despite she also wanted to see Kaneki. And then Touka going all tsundere, with a reason, he is destroying himself apparently.
I agree that the show is back to its highs with this and the previous episode, despite the fact that whole kaneki transformation motives feels a bit weak or, just thrown there. I'm still caught on how I find all the characters charming, even Gourmet. Also I like that the show is not going all out about certain details/hints, that at this point are more an evidence without the need to spell them out.

Plenty of glorious Tsukiyama moments(one can never have too much Miyano) coupled with some touching moments from Hinami and last but certainly not least, Touka & Kaneki. This episode stood pretty damn well on it's own, which is quite something considering the lack of build-up from the previous.
Still waiting to see what's going on in Kaneki's head though but I guess this was a start. Trying to become stronger to make sure his close ones as well as himself don't get hurt, which also means coming to terms with the fact that he's going to have to hurt others. He probably went to Aogiri to force that mentality upon himself. I guess that's the general gist of it anyway but the lack of ANY details is still annoying. |

And then I didn't know If I had to feel relieved or be worried when she later appeared.
