I'm was honestly more hyped for this till the spoilers for NT15 dropped.

Now who else is going to appear? We've already got Kamijou, Index, Misaka and Shokuhou. Give us some surprises, Kamachi!

I want to see accels and LOs roles switched, accel (since esper powers dont count) is now the damsel while LO gets the fearsome #1 title

The only thing about this I'm not sold on is Index being able to use one... wasn't she the one that could barely use a cellphone properly or any kind of technology? So why can she all of a sudden use on of these robot things properly?

Being able to properly use it doesnt mean that she will suddenly be a good in the game :/

It was an okay start; mainly establishing the setting and game mechanics.

It was a bit difficult to read through with some of the jargon being used so I guess I'll need to familiarize myself a bit more with the Virtual-On series.

LazyHunter Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2011 Location: Spain	Spoiler for Preview: Nothing much, prologue' scene is probably near the climax of the ovel with Touma using Temjin. Other stuff is basically introducing the portable devices, a super useful gadget that can be used for a lot of stuff, including Virtual On battles. The battles have a security system so that nothing is harmed, wonder how long that is going to last. There's some kind of tournament about to happen betweent he 23 districts, and Mikoto (using Fei Yen) is fighting a bee-themed Angelan (pretty obvious who's controlling that) in the preliminaries to select District 7's representative.

Spoiler for novel spoiler: Accelerator shows up piloting the Specineff (the scythe-wielding virtuaroid in the illustrations). Kamijou/Temjin and Misaka/Raiden work together with him to battle against the Blue Stalker (the boss of this novel pictured in the colour illustrations). __________________
