My money is on, for the elder vampires, they probably got so powerful it's not something they rely on anymore.

Gyokuro tells Moka that Tsukune is falling into a ghoul and that she is the cause. Moka doesn't believe her so Gyokuro starts explaining.

Long ago when Akasha and her friends were fighting Alucard, they couldn't really beat him. In the end, Akasha got into his body, sealed him along with her and they both fell asleep.

About 170 years later, Akasha was rescued by the Shuzen family but due to the long time inside Alucard, her Youki and even blood has combined with Alucard's (basically the same).

Since Moka was Akasha's daughter she could handle it, but what she ended up putting inside Tsukune was the blood of the 2 Vampire ancestor's combined (obviously dangerous). She also explains that when Alucard's blood gets inside another body, it starts propagating and corroding it until it transforms into one of those monsters. Since those monsters are the result of getting Alucard's blood and that's pretty much the same thing Moka injected in Tsukune, he will "definitely" turn into one of them.

Moka begs Gyokuro to save Tsukune and she says she will...but only after he falls into a Ghoul and becomes one of her pets. Gyokuro orders the monster to kill her but Tsukune intervenes. Moka sees his hand and apologizes but Tsukune tells her that no matter what happens to him Moka should not blame herself since thanks to that power he was able to protect her.

He releases the Holy Lock's 2nd Seal and beats Gyokuro's pets. She goes in herself, but Tsukune manages to give her a wound. Tsukune tells Gyokuro, "Let's finish this fast, Gyouro-san...before this body breaks apart..."

Man, that was definitely diabolical enough. As well as informative. So Akasha is very much alive, but unable to escape Alucard on her own. Question is, who's gonna get her out this time, and that's even if she can be rescued. Man, he's definitely made it dramatic enough.

I don't doubt she can transform like Kahlua, where do you think she got it from? And since Tsukune's proven that he can hurt her, she's not gonna pull her punches anymore. So it's on, like Donkey Kong. Once that Rosario in her hair comes out, she'll be using one hundred percent of her youki. Be afraid, Tsukune Aono, be very afraid. O.O!!

Well, you know, the current situation reminds me a lot the Ghoul / Midou incident from the first season.

After all, while the situation is still a lot more serious, in both the current and the Midou incident Tsukune took a gamble to protect Inner Moka.

In the first season, by receiving another dose of Moka's blood, despite the dangers it contains.

In the current situation, he removed the second seal of the Holy Lock, which is also dangerous.

Not to mention, in both of those situation... Tsukune and Inner Moka are pretty much the only main characters that appear on the scene, and have a pretty emotional moment, that has a lot of romantic subtext.

Now, as you probably remember in the first season, the one who prevented Tsukune, from fully degenerating into a Ghoul, was Mikogami - the first of the Three Dark Lords.

This time, I think it's a huge possibility that the one who will save Tsukunee (indirectly or directly would be Tohou Fuhai.

After all, a development like that, would fit the pattern that I think Ikeda is aiming for:

1'st year: Tsukune prevented from fully degenerating into a Ghoul by Mikogami the first Dark Lord
2'nd year: Tsukune prevented from fully degenerating into a Alucard like monstrosity by Tohou Fuhai the second Dark Lord
3'rd year: Tsukune helped in mastering / completing his "transformation" by Akasha the third Dark Lord (since, it has been implied in the current chapter that there exists a way to get her out of Alucard, I doubt that Ikeda would reveal that, if she wouldn't have any roles to play, in the future arc's)

not really... since even if she pulls down her own hair rosary... there is still Mokas powerfull rosary clinging to her body (the one who controls alucard)... so till she doesnt toss away from her body all rosaries she wont be able to use full power (in past tsukune did similar stuff to a dopplanger who turned into moka... he just touched skin on arm and that person lost all power)

well maybe the rosario is controling not alucard bu akasha ! who is sitting inside alucard... and throught her the controling comes ^^

About akasha well I kinda have a feeling that tsukune will let himself be eaten by alucard...only to find akasha inside and burst his way out from alucards guts...and maybe with akasha's help tsukune can be saved... at least moka would be glad... and well it would be funny to see akasha join the mama squad to fool around about who will marry tsukune :P

And it would be funny if at the end they made Tsukune wear that rosary of mokas to suppress the black form ^^ well outer would be the same way together with tsukune :P

Since, based upon the summary, it has been, pretty much confirmed that Alucard's blood is the thing that causes the degeneration of Tsukune's body, I don't think that the scenario you proposed would be a good idea.

I think that, having contact with Alucard's flesh, would simply make Tsukune's condition worse, before he would be capable of "saving" Akasha.

I think that Akasha's role in saving Tsukune is going to be left for the third year of Tsukune's "stay" in the youkai academy, and in the current arc, the one who is going to save him is going to be Tohou Fuhai.

After all, I doubt that Ikeda would bring the "old man" to the front line, if he wouldn't have any role to play in this arc... and considering the fact that Tohou Fuhai hasn't done anything yet, apart from giving a single kick to Issa ... I think that he will still have something left to do, in this arc, most likely related with getting Tsukune back to a more normal state.

Just like the idea of releaseing 2nd seal in his condition... he goes with the impulse...before he breaks down he can just enter alucard get akasha... and then funai might put a seal on tsukune to suppress that power and save him from death... kinda use the opportunity that he is already releasing the seal to grab her... and I wonder if alucard would even attack tsukune... I mean he has his youki...black look..and smell.... he might consider him a friend or part of himself and wont attack him on his own

its not sure when akasha would awaken as we dont know her status or mental state right now... they can just save her... put her in bed and other sisters might look after her while moka goes back to school (kinda like the cover with kaluha and kokoa sweaping leafs...peacefull)

we still dont know what miyabi is planing and for who is he working... so this might be left for 3rd season which would resolve around akasha waking up

^ I see what you mean, well a scenario like that, definitely fits Tsukune's character.
We will just need to wait and see, if Ikeda has thought up a similar idea as you did.

Well Moka spoiled herself in this chapter of what she was thinking... she is scared of losing the human Tsukune who smiled so kindly to her... and is scared from the fact that it would be all her fault if that tsukune disappears

since we saw that after she had that flashback of the kind smile tsukune she broke down and started begging the enemy for help... then then gyokuro told moka that she will save tsukune... mokas spirit lightened up for 1panel "she rised head with ease" only to be trempled down by gyokuro.... so yeah tsukuens status is all on her mind now.... she doesnt want to lose "that" tsukune and make him a pernament monster.... so its pretty sure that she will cling close to tsukune even more now

about other girls...well kurumu already saw full form of black tsukune and even kissed him in that form... so Im sure she will be the one to remember everyone that this is still tsukune... maybe trapped inside this shell but he is still there....

generally I suspect that 3rd season would be about the masked king... and trying to find a cure for tsukune...or at least make him control his power without losing himself

I guess Akasha would be a great help here... since she mostly went similar transformation when she was inside alucard... so she might know a way to get it over control even a little

anwyay time will show how this will play out... but im sure it will get more exciting...and inner moka will pay bigger role now...not only appear when there is a fight... now she has a reason to be outside more.

Well, personally I doubt it's possible to cure Tsukune - in the sense, that they would somehow take the Alucard blood from his system, turning him back into a more or less human.

I think the only option they have of resolving Tsukune's issue's, is to provide him with a way, to gain control over his powers, and take control over his bodies "transformation", to retain his human appearance.

And I agree that Akasha would be a great help in resolving this matter.

Regarding Inner Moka, I think that there is a huge chance that she will be permanently "outside", after this arc is over.

After all, at this point the Rosario is the only thing, that can, more or less, resolve the issue of Alucard's awakening, and once that is done, I doubt that Mikogami and Tohou Fuhai, would continue taking the risk of having the Rosario be in Moka's possession, and take a risk of the Rosario. once again, falling into the enemies hand, initiating a repeat of the current situation.

Since, it's pretty obvious that the Masked King would definitely want to take control over someone as strong as Alucard is....

Regarding the other girls, well their role, in the future arc's, partially depends on what kind of ending Ikeda is aiming for, which is not something that can be predicted, at this point... although, I would say that there is a huge chance that we will see the return of the "lighter" comedy chapters, after this arc ends.

nice stuff. I like the thought of Tsukune kinda jumping into Alucard's jaw before being consumed by darkness and then maybe being given some unexpected options by Akasha once inside. I sure hope he tears Gyokuro a new one before doing that though

I think that with the latest chapter, we have also finally learned, what is the source of Tsukune's and Moka's mental connection, that has been implied to exist in the first season.

After all, considering the fact that both Tsukune and Moka have Alucard's blood in their veins, it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that a similar bond to the bond that exists between Akasha and Alucard (as well as Moka), would also exist between Moka and Tsukune, now that they ... pretty much, have the same blood in their veins.

While, it's true that the bond between Moka and Tsukune hasn't displayed the same characteristics as Moka's bond with Alucard, but that, could be easily, explained by the fact, that, most of the time, Moka has been sealed by the Rosario, which prevented her Shinso abilities from "awakening", while in Tsukune's case he constantly wears the Holy Lock, which might prevent this "bond" from reaching it's full potential.

It's possible, that this bond is going to help Tsukune in resolving his current issue, although .. like I said, sometime ago, Tohou Fuhai, is also going to help Tsukune in resolving his current problem, to fit with the potential pattern that Ikeda might be planing to use - that each of the three Dark Lord's is going to have a role to play in Tsukune's development.

True, but I'm more talking about doing something similar to what Mikogami has done in the first season, during the Midou / "Ghoul" incident.

I doubt the incident during the human modification ritual, counts as him doing something for Tsukune, since it was mostly Kurumu that got the "job" done (and even Tohou Fuhai, has acknowledged that it wasn't done by his strength)

Now, he has a chance of rehabilitating himself, especially since he hasn't done anything major, during the whole invasion on Fairy Tale's HQ, and Ikeda wouldn't bring him to the front line, if he wouldn't have any major roles to play in this arc.
