Yay, Kanako was superb! I loved her so much, especially when she was in her apron! So cute :3... I want a wife, like her! Still Kanako my fav, but the twins also very-very interesting.
The cooking scene was super good, but Junpei really didn't noticed anything. I know, he's full of Mizuno, and he only see this girl. But why not went Mizuno 'play the cat' to Junpei's home, if she asked this on the beginning of the series? Or this will happening in the future? If the creators want to build their relationship, this will be a good idea. Or this series will also end, just like the other? (The main character don't choose anyone.)

And why? Because she isn't manipulative and having ill-intentions? You know those are usually the sings of "evil" characters. It's natural she wouldn't exploit something like that if she considers Kaede as a friend.

Well, him not understanding is part of the comedy. Same with his abundant amount of ignorance for the women around him. If this wasn't so heavy on the comedy, he may have realized something remotely similar to what we all know.

We've seen plenty of characters get carried away by their feelings and inadvertently hurt someone they consider a friend because they like the same person. Kana is in a position to take advantage of the situation but she has not plus being a teenage girl well weve all been to high school and we have seen how brutal it can be when they compete for the same guy. Matters of the heart are never quite as simple as they seem. This is only because shes not using the whole all's fair in love and war mindset and im glad shes not i would think less of her if she did.

The comedy offsets all the seriousness anyway

You misunderstand me. It of course takes her into a positive light, but it isn't something we should worship her for...it's a good natured and noble thing, but nothing extreme. You know if she would've quietly backed off then it would be much more commentable especially if we see her constantly suffering by that and seeing that it wasn't by far an easy decision. But she can't as of course many people would.

but you have to remember that Kanako definitely know that she is the odd one with Kaede and Junpei and i do feel sorry for her because deep down she knows that she cant win Junpei but i think she is trying really hard just to get some sign of affection from him and because of this she probably just wants things to go back to the way they were before they had that big fight as kids.

well for sure Kanako now suffers from her own stupid acts that made jumpei turn further away from her..... well she misunderstood the past childhood "cat-doll-present" issue and from this point she acted violent to him which made jumpei step further away from her....

right now kanako for sure feels guilty for her wrong judgment for all those years which could have been the nail to coffin for her love...... for sure Kanako suffers "WAY" more compared to Keade..... becouse Kanako knows Jumpei from childhood days where they were mostly the best friends...... while Keade has been known by Jumpei only for 1-2years from the moment they entered the high school so the time is not soo long compared to Kanakos and Jumpeis relantionship.... and that's why Kanako suffers more.... becouse even throught they used to be best friend right now jumpei is not paying any attention to her but only to keade (maybe kanako trys to understand what keade has that she does not have....)

I personaly want a kanako ending.... becouse it would break the usuall stereotype of the cute/kind/quiet/shy girl allways winning at the end without even knowing the main character at all (she was not even once in jumpeis home for 1-2years of knowing from school)....while the violent [tsudare] girl always loses to the shy one........

Kanako acts violent becouse of her jelousy and emmberesment of showing emotions but inside she really is a kind and shy girl.... yet jumpei is not able to notice that soo far..... damn that Nyan should tell Jumpei at least that he should pay more attention to kanako from now on....

about kanako shy-cute side.... better relook manga raw's ch25-26 ^^ I wont spoil anything (but I doubt that anime will even rich there... I think anime-only ending) but it will open your eyes more ^^ and the understanding why I prefer kanako above mizuno (well those 2chapters only confirm my choice)

but it would be awsome if at the last episdoe there was a twist.... like everyone thinks that Mizuno and Jumpei will end up together.... yet Kanako said her feelings (or jumpei woke up) for jumpei and the story ends with the girl that throught she already lost... wins adn jumpei choices her XD

well kinda kanako i better version of Mizuno :P she is smart, strong, cute, shy (relook those chapters above), good cook and good material for house wife (can rule over jumpei :P so keep her husband in check), sees and can read atmosphere around people (no one needs to tell her that someone likes her like nagi done to keade becouse she was such airhead).... and she likes cats too (like mizuno)

not mention that kanako knows more about jumpei than mizuno since she was growing up with him.... so for me she is the best choice...... mizuno is cute and nice so she rather wont have any problems finding a boyfriend (at the 1st day of high school everyone was blushing when mizuno was talking in front of all students)

I dont happen to think that Kaede is better than Kana or vice verse. I think they both have endearing qualities. Neither are bad people and are sweet in their own way. Me wanting a Kana ending is purely personal because i love childhood friend endings. Junpei and Kana actually make a good couple but so Junpei and Kaede. I just personally prefer Kana plus im not really into the small and cutesy look to much i like a woman with some fire in her.

I disagree. Kaede will have her chance. I refuse to believe she is like that. When it comes to love or relationships, everyone has to be selfish or they will miss out. It's the way things are.

So kaede will have her moment of selfishness or "chance". She will take it and she will be with Junpei which will make the episode junpei x kaede while the others sit back and relax.

you should rather change the word "Keade" for "Kanako" since Kanako is the one that needs moments of selfishness or chance to be together with jumpei.... since he already is thinking about Mizuno [keade]

so tehre should be a Kanakox Jumpei episode and not KeadexJumpei one.... it would be different if jumpei did not know whihc one to choice.... but now its more like jumpei falling to keades side....... which in my opinion is wrong ^^ the author should give kanako a moment of happiness (yet she sees keade as the huge rival who will most likely win...... kanako is struggling but her efforts are not enought to gain jumpeis affection)

so here kanako needs some love and not keade....... I want kanako [the violent/tsudare girl win who had sooo low chances to win] to end up with jumpei ^^ that would break like I already said the usuall stereotype that the shy/quiet/airhead girl wins at the end..... while the more agressive with fire lose...

While it'd be fun to go into battle against the usual moral relativists again, and while for some strange reason I like Kanako more than I like Kaede (yes, it's the same me, people), I'll just say that I can see no way out of a Junpei x Kaede couple, unfortunate though that is.
