Just wanted to thank you for all the effort you put into your translation. Really appeciate that. Hope you will continue after Onikakushi-hen.
Oh and everything works great with your modifications to onscripter on linux. I'd love to beta-test if there's any need for that btw;p |

And by that point... I'd probably prefer playing a decent English patch that someone else made to working from scratch on a new one. As always, thanks for the support and let us know if you have any questions or suggestions! Shion (Sonozaki Futago-tachi)

Beta-tester casting call
Hi folks,
We've still got a ways to go with Onikakushi Day 14, but we thought we'd go ahead and see if any new people would like to try being in our next beta test. We definitely want people who are willing to slog through and note any problems they find with gameplay or writing, but you won't need to try too hard looking for problems - just note what doesn't "flow" well, what looks like a typo, what seems broken. Give us a PM if you're interested. Thanks! Mion (Sonozaki Futago-tachi)

Otherwise, our rapidshare folder contains English patches for both the Higurashi demo (Onikakushi) and the full game (Himatsubushi). Mion (Sonozaki Futago-tachi)

When people say "Himatsubushi", they mean the disk with the entire 4 first "question" arcs, which include Onikakushi, Watanagashi, Tatarigoroshi, and Himatsubushi. The only chapters that have been translated are Onikakushi and a little of Minagoroshi (arc 7, in the Matsuribayashi disk, which is the disk with the last 4 "answer" arcs: Meakashi, Tsumihoroboshi, Minagoroshi, and Matsuribayashi).
In short, the Sonozakis are translating Onikakushi, from the Himatsubushi disk, and each new patch contains all the translation from before, so the previous links aren't necessary. The translation for Minagoroshi is dead. That's all. |
