- No more semi-final loss for Ruri (Kuroneko)!

Now for her to wait to get her chance at the tiara.

- Not much out of the ordinary. Although for some reason, Azusa has gotten stronger when she isn't involved in the main matches. Barely lost to Taiga earlier, now she beats Taiga convincing.

- Same four numbers for both Asuna & Hime. Two numbers were switched so no tie.

- Mondai Ji-tachi has two exhibition finalists. Interesting results. Good series though.

Not a fan of most of these results, but the one that mattered the most was one I'm glad to see. We should now have a good Tiara Final - Either Kanade vs. Kuroneko or Mikoto vs. Kuroneko would make a good final, less predictable than either of the last two.

Big win for Kuroneko over Eucliwood. However, it's not quite as good as what she did in Elimination 3 and Kuroneko went on to lose to Kanade. It's still plenty good enough to show that Kuroneko is a threat to Kanade. Mashiro does a lot worse on Rikka than she did back in Elimination 1. On top of that, Rikka has looked worse than she did earlier. A bit above Ayase is still pretty good. Mashiro, Ayase, Eucliwood and Mikoto all look pretty close together in strength right now. No idea what to say above Taiga's performance on Azusa. It's a pretty bad loss for Taiga who should be stronger than Azusa. I guess Taiga really has finally reached her peak and is falling now. I guess there's only so much you can do with nothing. Ayase vs Kobato went about as expected. Asuna and Kuroyukihime looks pretty close together in terms of strength and this time Asuna came out ahead. Kirino has her first match where she doesn't disappoint me. Sena looks to be the weakest character in the top 16 by a fair bit. Nanami vs Inori went about as expected. Mondaiji proves to be unstopable. Tamako does better than I thought she would on Leticia. However, Leticia still puts up a solid win. Black Rabbit beats Rita pretty hard. I guess Rita may not be as strong as I thought she was.

Might be. However, Taiga was getting strong while Shana was getting weaker. Otherwise, Taiga wouldn't be stronger than Shana right now.

I think that the era of the KugRie tsundere is finally over, since I think that the anime world in general probably has tired of that character type at last. So characters that are one of that character type have weakened.

Taiga managed to weaken the slowest of all of them due to the incredible enduring popularity of Toradora!, but the effect of being a major character in a timeless classic has its limits (if it didn't, Rei Ayanami and Asuka Soryu would be major players in this).

Yeah, I noticed a significant drop in support for the KugRie tsundere, particularly noticable since Shana won the Ruby necklace last year. Maybe that just overwhelmed whatever positive flow Taiga had.
