In this episode, they introduced a little girl, who is trying to fight down Ayako.
At first glance, I thought I saw the little sister in Kamisama Kazoku. Not only do they look the same, their personality and behaviour seems the same as well. They can be twins for all I know. But I found her funnier than the one in Kamisama Kazoku. She was so cute when she blushed in the man's restroom.

I am also wondering what Ayako is up to that made her so tired all the time.

Next episode should be fun.

Hahahahaha, i thought she is more like primula in her attitude. I actually finished watching it and the toilet scene was just hilarious. I do not know, but i think she's really the next silent type loli after Primula in shuffle!

Nice episode, i think there will be a bit of emotional turmoil soon =3

I agree. A new variation. The powerful Primula/Yuki loli as a romantically susceptible klutz or schlemiel. But in general, this episode did not amuse me as much as the others. The show is mixing comedy, romance and adventure, and I probably do not love it as much when the adventure element is more prominent in an episode.

Yeah, even before this series started I saw her as cold and emotionless girl, like Yuki from Haruhi or like you said Primula from Shuffle!, and at first she seemed so, but the scene in toilet totally cracked me up. Definitely the funniest moment in ep. 6.

Looks like this new girl is going to be important character, she is third person in character page of the official site (after Mamoru and Ayako) and has a quite strange name, Emelenzia Beatrix Rudiger.

Very good episode, some funny parts, and some touching parts. I can't wait for next episode.

i take it that ayako's strength hasnt returned yet hence shes sleeping whenever she can but dam is she cute ^__^

that girl...is a star!!! shes shows a lot more emotion than yuki or prim but at the same time can be as cold as them...mixed moe kawaiii! getting kissed by a piggy

was sad to see mamoru's gift being like it turned out to be...and the fortune telling cards werent supportive of that too >.< theres going to be a hard future for both of them...

Emelenzia Beatrix Rudiger (who shows up in ep6, for those who haven't seen it yet) is played by Sanada Asami, who was Di Gi Charat, and also played the boy, Jun, in Rozen Maiden. She does a great job of making a few words count.

OK, since I'm not going to learn Japanese well enough, fast enough (though I have been a little surprised at how well I'm getting the basics from Rosetta Stone), it's time for some more 'drastic" action...

Does anyone produce raws of this series with Closed Captioning on (I have some resources for written translation that I could then do the subtitling myself and share)?

If not, does anyone know if there's a version of Dragon Naturally Speaking for Japanese (or any similar product)?

I also priced (just for grins) a professional translation - about $1200 for a one hour recording. As such, the device above seems a little more economical.

Does anyone have experience with that device? It's a little pricey to buy in the "hope" that it will cover enough phrases to let me just fill in a few blanks now and then.

Of course, the closed captioned option would also be useful (if it's available).
