ANN updated a news on this today. Apparently, Kana Hanazawa is signed for the Japanese DUB as the role of Ruri. Apparently, the alternate title of the series is Hinabachi: BEE.

The only thing good about the manga is the art and action (battle etc), the story is really generic.

I read the manhua some time ago and i loved the art, yeah the story it is so generic at the beginning to the point of almost being a sin however after some chapters the history develops and becomes interesting but unfortunately the group that was translsting the manhua suddenly disappeared, as a reader im glad that they are making an anime of this.

What boggles me is why they still allow violent Chinese cartoons (the genuine one, not the ironic version describing Japanese animation) still be shown (both TV and online) alongside anti-Japanese war dramas but ban indecent Japanese anime?

The episode 01 aired today in China. You can find it on the web if you are interested (Tudou).
I don’t know what to think about the first episode, it seems like an introduction since it was only 15 minutes long and i am not used to the animation yet . There was an ending but no opening. (I don't know if the next episode is longer though).

I don't usually speak Chinese but I found the premiere to be alright, however I have to rewatch the Japanese dub (which will come out next month) to actually get a glimpse behind the plot even though I do pretty much know what's going on. The production values are above average, with smooth animation highlighting most of the episode and overall looks a lot better than what I would expect out of a Chinese cartoon. That ending seems really intriguing enough that I'll continue watching if it comes soon enough.

Looking forward to see the Japanese dub so I can hear KanaHana voicing the heroine!
