Me , i prefer manually to put points in stats than auto-stats .
My last Diablo-like game was Torchlight , and all was so nostalgic .

Yeah , i was wondering about that too .

For the release date if i remember Blizzard said it won't be released in 2010 . So we can wait 1 more year .

I guess they are more busy for Starcraft 2 Wing of Liberty and Wow next extension .

Female monks aren't always bald. There's a lot of variations depending on the time period and specific monastery rules.

I am not the only one who have thought of Futurama when I have seen the female barbarian.

Blizzard's staff said that Diablo world has its own tradition which doesn't necessary relate with real world. So yeah, that was an excuse for female monk. Just look at it as an original material.

Think about it, you either make them too weak if they're not all str or too strong if they are. There will be at least two, general three, cookie cutter builds in single player; The long range devastation unit and the indestructible melee unit, plus whatever else that works. As long as there is different playing styles offered, it's still good.

Of course, the problem is item huntingfor an off-line single player like me. Getting the items I need is more important than max killing power, because if I can't get what I need I can't HAVE max killing power... And there will always be one build that can hunt for items the best.

Are equips stat dependent btw? like in the old days. Would be interesting to see random stat distribution and equips with stat requirements.

Thanks for posting that Sho the female monk looks sweet . But the concept art/design gets a few points off on orignality . I am reminded of another monk from a video game . The armor and design seem very familiar , talking about this one

^ doesn't look similar to me at all, if anything the monk armor I feel is a bit too WoW-ish -- I kinda hate the hige-shoulder pad excuse for proper armor design.

Quite different from the character Monk from Hellfire .The original Monk class was a mix between various classes in terms of stats . Not much info on wikia page, can anybody post Maximum statics ?

My favorite character though in hellfire was Barbarian : D

There better not be a bug with funny stat requirements. I do remember that there is an obscure era where random Paladin items can be found that require a ridiculous amount of Energy.

I got one of them and NPC-ed it.

Most of all, you have to be disciplined and you have to save, even if you hate our current financial system. Because if you don't save, then you're guaranteed to end up with nothing.

I don't remember energy ever being a stat req for items. It was str for armors and str + dex for weapons from what I remember.

Blizzard mentioned elsewhere, that a major issue with D2 characters is that you never see them close-up while in gameplay. This means in order for features of the outfit to be visible, they had to be exaggerated. Hence, large shoulder pads.

I am pretty sure that Blizzard said stat requirements are gone for DIII.

It was a bug. Fixed in one of the earlier 1.0x patches I think. Most of the stuff farmed, a few of the items requiring a high STR end up having a high energy requirement.
