This is literally just an upgraded version of Digimon World: Re-Digitize (PSP and 3ds). The town is the same, the maps look very similar, and the battle mode is pretty much the same. Main difference seems to be you get two Digimon now instead of one.

Well, I'm all in for all the Jogress possibilities that a 2-digimon team can offer (hellooooo Mastemon)... But I'm a bit fed up with Omegamon.

I wouldn't mind getting my Pata-Pata as a starter, but new digimon would be cool too.

So is this about NPC recruiting and going to the gym and your Digimon can pass away and become an egg again ala digimon world 1 or is it turn based RPG in digimon world 2,3,dawn/dusk and etc?

Everything about it is similar to ReDigitize, which was basically a reboot of Digimon World 1.

Digimon World: Next Order will have Digimon Adventure tri. linked content

The latest issue of V Jump reveals a new character and Digimon joining the cast of Digimon World: Next Order.

Luce is a young girl who lost her memory, but is full of energy regardless. She’s always carrying around a plush Numemon toy.

Taomon and Gallantmon Crimson Mode will appear in the game. Taomon is a Digimon that left Jijimon’s village for a certain reason.

V Jump also reveals that Digimon World: Next Order will have linked content with the new Digimon Adventure tri. anime film project. Details will be shared at a later date. The first film, Reunion, will be released on November 21.

Digimon World: Next Order introduces “Black Knight” Digimon

Kenji Watanabe, a designer responsible for creating a variety of Digimon, has designed a new Digimon for Digimon World: Next Order called the “Black Knight,” the latest issue of V Jump reveals.

Dubbed the “Enforcer,” the Black Knight is a Digimon similar in appearance to Omnimon Zwart, and is shrouded in mystery.

The magazine also reveals a new character, whose name is currently unknown, who wears a knitted hat and carries a Digi-Egg. The protagonist and friends will meet him on their journey. (He totally looks like the protagonist of Digimon World 1.)

Man, this is like if Red shows up in the next Pokemon main game and he called out MewTwo...

Digimon World: Next Order launches March 17 in Japan

Digimon World: Next Order will launch for PS Vita in Japan on March 17, 2016 for 7,344 yen, the latest issue of V Jump reveals.

First-print copies will include a reprinted version of the original Digimon World soundtrack, two original PS Vita themes, a “Training Start Dash Set,” special Agumon and Gabumon Digi-Egg, and an unknown Mega evolution download code.

According to Wikimon, yes, it is him. I'm not sure what source confirmed that, though, as obvious as it is aesthetically.

And this is a sequel (of sorts?) to Re: Digitize, which in turn we already knew was a sequel to the original Digimon World.

Because they made him look like the Antagonist haha
