If she was in Tiger and Bunny, she'd not be able to make a living due to all the mess she always makes.

But they'd have to keep her because of all the merchandise they sell.

*Imagines Nanoha as a washed up superhero with heart and Fate as being overly serious in a gameshow... oh maybe, I shouldn't have done that. *

Also, Yukikatsu, from Ano Hana... for being a douche.

Every male character from Hana Saku Iroha.

Everyone in Kaiji because society despises gambling.

Most LGBT characters, because many suffer more from anime exaggeration.

And last but definitely not least, Gendo motherfucking Ikari.

Thats intersting you think that way cause for me I think I'd be the opposite and would love to see Nanahoa in rl cause theres simply fact when it comes to her and that would be I'd pounce on her there and then!

Well tbh I think there is alot of characters that fall into this well whatever you would call it.
Basically what some have tounched upon before, I kinda doubt trying to spend any period of time with some of even my most loved characters and I'm one hell of a patient person.
I think tho the thing that gets to me the most is one character, Ami Kawashima.
One of my most favorite characters from any series and it saddens me that in RL I probably couldn't stand her.

Kyon's not a bad person-he's just down-to-earth and a logical thinker. It's not like he has a dis-likable personality as a human being. At least, I don't think so.

Yeah, the thing about Kyon is that we don't really know if he verbalizes every thing we "hear" in his monologues.

If he does, then yeah, he'd come across as a real whiner to many, many people I think. But if he only verbalizes say, a quarter of it, it's no big deal.

Sometimes it is hard to tell because sometimes it seems like Haruhi or Itsuki responds.

I think Kyon is pretty normal and common IRL.
Yuki would probably be lonely but she would not be hated.
Mikuru is also normal just shy. She might get bullied by those girls who feels threatened by her though.
Itsuki would be good at making friends if he wishes to. He certainly has the qualities.
Haruhi would be bad at making friends with her peers but she can actually behaves quite well when she wanted to. Her neighbour also trusted her to tutor their son. She is probably also nice to kids too.

Yeah, I really don't see Kyon as anything other than normal. We all complain about the world inside our heads, so he's not much different than any typical kid his age.

The Haruhi cast would be pretty much like in Disappearance, fairly normal people. Yuki could use a bit of assertivity training in that case.

Agreed, add Kamina (Gurren Lagann), Akio Furakawa (Clannad) and Roy Focker (Macross) you'd have great crew for a night on the town.



As for not getting along with in RL:

Asuka and Rei (NGE) would be very difficult people. Asuka is just too agressive and anti social for anyone to get along with. Rei...hmm...autistic and she'd probably require a 24/7 suicide watch.

Yui Hisawa (K-on) seems fine to me, though I'm sure she'd be diagnosed with ADHD and put on ritalin. Mio on the other hand, would lose the cuteness, too shy and all those fobias would get on anyones nerves.

AB has a lot of nice characters but Kaname would be so dull, lacks any kind of personality.

Kyousuke from Oreimo, can't stand doormat personalities in rl.

I wonder about Ryoko Asukura in Haruhi. She might actually be popular in real life, but we have so limited view of her (both colored by Kyon's views). She seem reliable, friendly, maybe having a sense of humor (unconfirmed).

Of course under most conditions you would never see her knife, nor would she have any reason to kill you...because you are not Kyon and you have not blocked progress into gaining information of Haruhi, or attempted to harm Yuki. (or at least I hope you've not tried to harm Yuki, because there will be more than one knife if that is the case).

One wonders if the Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan version of Ryoko would be a viable version of her personality if she was normal and real?

I use to think she was ax crazy lunatic who a ticking time bomb who wuld explode if ever got angry but as I got to know the character, I realize that she is just a normal girl with some strange hobbies. She may come off as strange to most people but she would be a very nice to hang with.

I have to admit, this made me lol.

I actually think that Yui would be a popular "casual friend" for a lot of teenage girls, but precious few could handle being around her a lot. She'd basically be the girl that the other girls would want to invite to every party they have, simply to liven it up if nothing else.

So Yui would be a popular friend of sorts, but she might have a hard time making friends as close as what Azusa, Ritsu, Mio, and Mugi are to her.

I'd actually think a lot of people would look down on Kotetsu, just because he's a bit unrestrained and seen as a washed up relic, out of touch with the times unlike the sexy and shiny Barnaby who also would probably be fawned over in real life.

Which... is exactly what happened in universe. >.> Show's brutal in its realism with the characters some times. Poor guy.

Oh, the general populace sure. Barnaby is much easier to do a fancy Time or Newsweek write-up on than Kogetsu would be.

But I think to the people who know both well, they'd have an easier time enjoying Kotetsu's company. Barnaby's not a bad guy, but he has violent mood swings, and he often comes off as a bit uptight.

That is completely correct and is my point; I thought of characters in this thread not based on how I'd like them, but in general. Though my first post just happened to work for both lol.

Your average peasant who judges everything based on what they see and is generally a shallow jackass will insert their own judgements.

To people that do know them, yes it's a fun party lol.

And yea, Barnaby behind the scenes is quite hard to deal with.
