Considering the known popularity of the Railgun team and the unknown qualities of anyone yet to appear (remember no spoilers!), it's easy to say "we'll promote the series using the characters everyone (non/manga readers) know and save anyone new for future magazine promotions. Who was on the first key visual for the Index movie? Touma, Index, and Mikoto. Were there new characters? Yes, but they waited and used the ones people knew to promote it at first. Wait and you'll get to see anyone you want as we progress through the season.

No surprise- I believe all of the past Raildex Animes had been on AT-X, or at the very least I'm fairly certain that Index II was.

Why is it airing so late? Is it because of the mature nature of the show?

It has always been a late night otaku show, same as the previous three.

Same as 95% of the shows we all watched and talked about in this forum.

Already mentioned about two weeks ago:

The important point to take away from that post is that AT-X will have the first viewing each week at 23:30 on Fridays. Otherwise it makes little difference to us that it's on AT-X as the station tends to broadcast nearly every late night show in a season (sometimes later) due to its necessity to provide anime 24/7.

So that would probably mean it's on my Saturday morning checklist...

An hour of difference does mean much for us, since Tokyo MX's quality is better than AT-X's so it's worth waiting.

For those who will miss Index's voice...

Iguchi Yuka's new song "Grow Slowly" will be the first ending song of Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S.

Guess I'm not shocked, I mean Hanazawa Kana did the same and seems to be successful so why not I guess.

Though I haven't really missed her voice since I've been hearing her a lot in other shows. Not that thats a bad thing.

Likely the music producer at Warner is doing so. They were partially in charge of music for the Index movie, which had her first single as the theme, and they're on the production committee for Railgun S too. This is under the Warner Home Video label, while fripSide is under the Geneon label.

No idea which one will be releasing the BD/DVDs, though Geneon has re-released the previous seasons in DVD-box form and was top on the production committee for the Index movie, which likely indicates they'll physically release it on disc form. Warner would have a much higher chance of including English subtitles though, so I'm not sure which one I'd rather want.

Did you watched the first season?
There wasn't even a pantyshot, not even talking about nudity (nipples..)
As for blood there barely was any.
