i never though that Rei had any angel DNA in her, and that she was a clone of the past Rei's that dies in unit 00 and the dummy tubes.

Without going into a long-winded explanation of why she has Angel DNA and everything involved with it, suffice it to say that... yes, she does. There's a reason Tabris/Kaoru tells her that they are alike.

Isn't it weird that, even after most of the major secrets were leaked from the PS2 game, most people are still in the dark? I wonder if the new movies would explain the fate of the second Lance...

Very nice trailer and while I also agree that Evangelion wouldn´t be itself without Asuka. It wouldn´t be a disaster for her to show up first in the end of the first movie or in the second considering that she wasn´t with us from the start in the original series.

so it s true they are doing a new evangelion.
just by looking at the youtube trailer it seems they ll just do like the special edition of Zeta gundam.
Nothing new to see here move along the serie was a waste of time 10 years ago it wont change now or even in next 10 years to come.

Seriously Evangelion is one of the most milked anime ever. They could have gave a proper ending at the end of Evangelion but Gainax decide to milk this thing to death over and over with live-action and sequel or prequel whatever this one is suppose to be

. The sad thing is that I will probably watch this just to see the ending.

The ED is Beautiful World, also done by Utada Hikaru. There's a preview on her website.

It's just a cash in to milk eva more. As Gainax do. I bought the Tabris one at the beginning of this year too

ADV have been talking about producing a live action one for a while now. Though progress seems to have stopped at some point last year, I hope ADV's plans never come to fruition.
